Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Very easy to put together, directions were simple and I had assembled in less than 15 minutes
I appreciate the expeditious delivery of my order...received it in 3 days at no charge when I specified standard delivery. Installed today by myself by supporting the exhaust and hitch with assorted scrap lumber. The videos provided by E-Trailer were most helpful. Only minor disappointment is that you can not center the bike behind the vehicle on the Swagman XTC 2 as the manufacturer specifies that the hold down hook should be mounted at the lowest part on the top tube which is at the intersection of top tube and seat tube. As a result, the bike protrusion from the side of the car is more pronounced on one side. I will definitely recommend E-Trailer to friends and associates.

Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
I had a damaged part on my bike rack. I was able to talk to a customer service rep by phone. They requested a photo of the damaged part and a replacement was sent very quickly. To my surprise, it was not just the damaged part but an entire rack replacement. I've purchased from etrailer before and they will definitely be my first go-to for vehicle accessories. Great customer service and quick shipping!
Customer service was great in helping me out with picking the right bike rack for my car. Thanks Josh for your help. So far the bike rack is doing well. Installation was easy. Will see how it goes in the next couple of months and write another review.

Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
Package arrived in poor condition; not sure i've ever seen a package so mangled with so much packing tape having been applied to keep it together. Worse, one of the wing adjustment knobs was missing, so i had to call Thule to get another one. Delayed gratification - can't try it on my or my wife's cars until the knob arrives in a couple of days. The instructions look straightforward and i should have no problem in using it.
Excellent and prompt customer service! When I first ordered my product it wasn’t in stock— staff were quick to let me know and offered me comparable products. I ended up waiting for my original order and shipping quick and they stayed in touch with ideas! Thule: The instructions could be a little more detailed. I ended up watching YouTube videos to help me instal. Overall it was easy, and this was the first rack I’ve ever installed and I did it by myself! I was surprised to learn the bike rack is in no way secured inside your vehicle, so.. I store it in my garage when it’s on.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Great bike rack! Does a great job but not as unbelievably heavy as the Hold Up. One thing----the directions were somewhat like Ikea's--not a whole lot of helpful descriptions about what screws/nets/bolts were for which part in the construction process. The pictures were miniscule and impossible to see but apart from that--I love the rack and it is solid as a rock.
does what it's supposed to do and you're not paying for the name, just the product!

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
etrailer has the best pre- and post-sales customer service I've ever seen! I started out not knowing anything about hitch-mounted racks. So I wrote to etrailer telling them about my car and type of hitch I was about to have installed. Samuel wrote back with lots of great information tailored specifically to my car. He even included a photo that looked just like my 2017 white VW GTI with a hitch and rack installed. Okay something of a coincidence. But the rest of the assistance I got from the crew at etrailer was just as prophetic. I went into this a novice and came out knowing lots more about hitches and racks and finding the rack best suited to my situation. I have a small car, a class 1 hitch and a heavy mountain bike. I got exactly what I needed. As to the Swagman rack itself, it works fine. If I had a different situation I would probably buy a platform rack as they are easier to load. There's no reason to buy a bike rack anywhere else.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Draw-tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver Class I - 1-1/4 Swagman Trailhead 3 Bike Rack - Tilting The Draw-tite Sportframe class 1 trailer hitch and Swagman Trailhead 3 bike rack were ordered for a 2017 Honda Fit. The online order and shipping went just as expected. The trailer hitch and bike rack are very heavy duty. I recommend watching the trailer hitch install video before installing, whereas the video is very helpful. The bike rack has triangles that you can rotate to find the best fit for your bicycle's frame. The rubber straps are thick and secure the bicycles when you pull them tight. This bike rack will stay on the vehicle for 6 months each year. The tilt feature and folding arm feature are must haves for a smaller hatchback. I am pleased with this purchase, it appears to be good quality and good value.

Kuat Beta Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches - Tilting
I was looking for a light weight bike rack for my 2015 Honda Accord. Your videos stated that the Kuat Beta was light and easy to install. You were right. I opened the box, read the instructions, and had it installed in about 10 minutes. I don't use a rack lock. It is so easy to pop on and off the hitch that I keep the rack in my car trunk.
We've been using this bike rack with a 1.25" Draw-Tite receiver hitch (also purchased from etrailer) on a 2012 Prius C for a month with no problems. As shown on the pictures, it fits two bikes very well, even one with a baby carrier. I chose this model based on recommendations from etrailer that it can be easily detached from the car without tools. True to their word, it is very easily detachable from the hitch and folds up nicely to fit in your garage/closet/storage area. Basically, it uses a hand tightened ball bearing mechanism to secure itself into the hitch receiver, and then uses a 3/8" hand locked pin as a safety device. You can install and de-install this rack in just a few minutes. During driving, there is little noticeable vibration from this rack, even on rougher roads or speed bumps. The only downside is that the holes on the receiver hitch do not align perfectly with the holes on the bike rack (see picture). I believe a few other reviewers also noted this issue. There is enough room to fit the safety pin, but not quite enough to fit a 1/2" hitch lock. I called Kuat to ask them about this and the rep told me that not all hitches will line up with this rack. Kuat, coincidentally(?), sells a hitch lock that is also 3/8" (same size as the safety pin) and still fits.

Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gray
I just put it together, looks and seems solid, should work great. There was a small issue with a bracket not being threaded properly. I called Kuat and they shipped replacement right away, took a while to get it delivered across the border though.
I’ve had the Kuat Sherpa for about a year now and could not be more happy with this bike rack. When not in use I keep it safely in the garage- it only takes a few minutes to install it to my Honda Civic and safely secure two bikes using its exquisitely engineered and designed system. I’ve used this for 900+ mile trips with no issues whatsoever - the perfect bike rack!

Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
I installed this rack onto a Curt trailer hitch which is mounted onto a 2017 Honda Fit. I have been using it intermittently for several months, probably about 5 times with one bike and twice with two bikes. I give some pros and cons below and then elaborate. Pros: easy to assemble, easy to mount and dismount bikes, easy to lock and unlock, how to put the rack into different positions is intuitive Cons: inconvenient to put the rack into different positions, inconvenient to mount the rack onto the hitch, rack protrudes about 15 inches from bumper when in flipped up position (seems very vulnerable to someone backing into it in a parking lot, very inelegant looking I say the repositioning is intuitive because there is really only one way you could possibly place the pins for each position. But removing and replacing two pins is much less convenient than turning a knob or a lever, like some racks do. Also many racks fold and flip in such a way as to look very unobtrusive when in non-use mode. This one looks like kind of a monstrosity. That does not really bother me but it might bother some owners. The part that does bother me is how far it protrudes from the car. I back into parking spaces whenever possible to avoid someone bumping into the rack and damaging it (which happened to a friend). My number one suggestion for Curt is related to mounting the rack onto the hitch. Make it easier to tell when the holes are lined up so that the bolt/pin will fit and thread. As it is now, if you insert the rack as far as it can go it is way too far in. Ideally, it would be exactly lined up. Failing that, maybe some kind of click or other feedback to know at least that you are in the neighborhood. It would also be great to have an attaching device that is easier to fasten and unfasten than is the bolt/pin. Tip for mounting the rack onto the hitch: I assumed that it would be awkward to hold, what is it 46 pounds?, while trying to line up the rack probe with the receiver. If you have a garage with exposed collar ties, my solution could work well for you. I looped a cargo strap over a collar tie. Then I hooked both hooks of a bungie onto that loop. The idea is that you hook one of the bike frame holders of the rack onto the bungie, suspending the rack a few inches off the garage floor. This takes most of the weight of the rack so that you can just pull up or down and forward until you line up with the receiver. Tip for mounting bikes. Don't put the little screw into the post that prevents you from completely removing the bike frame holders. Remove both holders. Position the first bike, slide the holder into place, position the second bike, slide the holder into place. I found this makes it much easier, because you avoid parts of the bike hitting the holder as you are trying to get the wheels into place. The trick is that if you are mounting only one bike, don't forget to put the second holder back on - or maybe just stick it inside the car right away.
I had a 1 1/4" hitch installed on my 2016 toyota camry (the only size offered on the camry). I was very pleased with the ride. I expected to hear alot of noise like experienced when towing a trailer, but I heard almost nothing accept when going over speed bumps. I had to extend the tire supports to their widest position because having mountain bikes with a step through angled bar, they were more secure the closer i could get the upper and lower support arms to the seat post. The bikes were mounted in opposite directions and only stuck out maybe 6 inches or so. One locking barrel on the lower support arm was malfunctioning and gave me trouble but i called etrailer and they sent a replacement as soon as they were in stock. It comes with a anti rattle hitch pin but I highly recommend purchasing an anti rattle hitch pin with a lock on the end instead of just a clip for more security when unattended. After a few times mounting the bikes and figuring out the best way they should be positioned (pedals positions, direction of bike, and that my wife's smaller bike fit better going on first with my larger bike on the outside) I can mount the rack and bikes and be ready to go in just 5 minutes. (70 pounds on a torque wrench recommended for the hitch pin) I am overall pleased with my purchase i would recommend this product.

Swagman Titan Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
One of the few racks that will clear my Jeep's large rear mounted spare tire without using an extender. The other is the Allen which doesn't have the nice features the Swagman Titan has. Tips enough to allow partial opening of Jeep rear door, but enough to open the soft top rear window. The vertical portion of rack tips slightly toward vehicle (at least it does on mine). Would be better if the horizontal "S" shaped piece could be turned around to dip down, moving it further from the spare tire, but there are only holes drilled to mount it as shown. Can't attest to the durability yet, but it doesn't wobble even a tiny bit. Have to compliment everyone I spoke with at etrailer. very nice and extremely helpful.
eTrailer.com had my new Swagman Titan bike rack delivered super fast. I received the right amout of email communication informing me of the status of my order, plus I could track my delivery directly from the eTrailer website. Awesome! As for the hitch, I am so happy with it. I was tired of taking the front wheel off my bike and cramming it into the back of my small Corolla, it never really fit right, was always a struggle, and then I had no room for anything else in my car. Now, I just hang my bike onto the rack and strap it in, takes less than 60 seconds and I have all the extra room in my car and don't have to fold down the back seats. The other feature I really like is that this bike rack has an integrated locking cable, once your bike is on the rack, you attach the locking cable so now your bike is locked onto the rack. Someone can't take your bike off the rack and walk away with it when you aren't looking. I also got the Swagman bike rack locking pin, that attaches the bike rack to the car hitch. I've used the bike rack twice so far and it makes my life so much easier. Solidly built bike rack that is well worth it. Thank you eTrailer, you rock!

Saris SuperClamp EX Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
At the age of 70, I needed a “friendlier” mounting and bike access rack. A platform rack seemed to be the solution. I had one caveat. My Subaru Forester had a 1and 1/4” receiver (with a non-standard 3/4” length mounting hole). My Volvo had a tuck away 2” receiver. After some research I gravitated toward Thule only to find out they had no solution for my above conundrum. In fact their customer service offered no interest in solving my problem which others also must have had. More research…enter Saris! An American made company with an innovative solution. I quickly received my SuperClamp EX-2 from ETrailer along with excellent customer service support. The ease of constructing the unit for use and the obvious structural integrity was immediately apparent. My wife couldn’t believe how easy it was to use and to stow away on my garage wall after use. Thank you Saris and ETrailer for a wonderful product and experience. I guess American made is still alive and well. I highly recommend this product and the associated companies.
Purchased this bike rack last year and am very pleased with the stability of the rack. The straps and clamps secure the bike well to the rack. Some things that I learned: When attaching the rack onto your hitch, it helps to put a piece of tape on the rack (hitchtite) once you have lined up the holes. This will make it easier to find the exact location of the holes the next time that you want to use the rack. Finding the exact location allows you to smoothly hand tighten the bolt to the end of the hitch. At that point, just use a socket wrench to finish the tightening. When putting the bike on the rack, I loosely secure the clamps to the tires at first. This allows me to rotate the tires to find the right location in the wheel well for the straps to go around the spokes. I next secure the bike with the straps and then fininsh securing the clamps to the tires.

Saris Bones Hitch Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
This is the first bike rack I have ever owned. The rack will be used primarily for me to transport my bike to training rides and triathlons. Occasionally, we will transport 1-3 additional bikes if my husband or sons want to go on a ride. In the past, I had to remove my front wheel in order to fit my bike inside my 2013 Toyota Highlander, and we weren't getting more than one bike in there. I went with the Saris based on the recommendation of a triathlon coach/mountain biker. My husband and I mounted the rack onto the car without difficulty. It is easy enough to get on or off by myself, which is useful since we will not be leaving on the car permanently. Thankfully, with it mounted, and the arms folded down, my 2013 Highlander fits into the garage with no problem. One useful feature that I discovered is the ability to position the arms closer together for my shorter bike. I attached photos of the arms attached all the way wide, or a little narrower. I noticed just a minor amount of movement of the rack while I drove, but it was mostly while I went through a construction zone that has a lot of bumps. Even then, it didn't seem unstable. Additionally, I used a small bungee cord to strap the front tire to the cross bar of the bike, to reduce the movement of that tire. I would recommend the Saris Bones Hitch without reservation.
Holds 3 light bikes comfortably. Adjusting semi rigid straps a bit difficult for me, depending on angle. Hitch rattles some tho I imagine it needs this amount of "give." Recommded by a friend I trust.

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Metallic Black
Love this bike rack! The NV 2.0 firmly keeps my road bike and beach cruiser securely in place. The added lock is a great feature for keeping the bikes safe after a day of riding. Even on my tiny Corolla the rack looks and fits great. I never have to worry about the bikes when they're locked onto the NV 2.0
Ok at 1 year I still remember how good customer service is with etrailer.com. This rack remains awesome as well, favorite features are the locks and the flip down capability so even with bikes loaded I can open the back hatch of my SUV with no issues. Also I think it is easy to take on and off so I don't just drive around with it on, hangs easily in the garage.
RockyMounts HighNoon FC 3 Bike Rack Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the RockyMounts HighNoon FC 3 Bike Platform rack. We're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2014 Toyota Prius V. Great for if you need a carrier around bikes of different shapes and sizes and bikes with fenders. So if you and your two friends all wanna go and hit the trails, you can do so with this bike. Now, with this vehicle though, you do have some interesting ways that this works together and the first feature we're gonna take a look at is gonna be our tilt away feature. There is a handle underneath the rack but it's a little further in.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the RockyMounts HighNoon FC 2-bike platform rack for two-inch hitches. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2014 Toyota Prius V. So the HighNoon is very similar to the RockyMounts MonoRail, if you're familiar with that popular bike rack. But it has some upgrades to it, which makes it more versatile for bikes of different shapes and sizes, especially ones with fenders.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at how the RockyMounts GuideRail three-bike platform rack fits on our 2014 Toyota Prius V. So the GuideRail is a normally two-bike platform rack. We have the add-on included here, so that you can carry around more bikes. Great for if you have more friends or more family. Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Saris SuperClamp EX two bike platform rack fits on the 2014 Toyota Prius V. So the SuperClamp EX is very versatile because you have an 1 1/4" shank as well as a included 2" hitch adapter. With a 60 pound weight capacity per bike whether you have your light bikes or your heavier bikes, it can work with them. Now there's some downsides to this too which it does take a little bit more extra effort to get things lined up. With that 2" hitch adapter, I cannot use the hitch pin alignment collar so I'm gonna have to do this manually every time I play it into my hitch. So now that hitch pin hole on the bike rack is aligned with the hitch pin hole on the vehicle.
Thule Helium Platform XT Bike Rack Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline, right here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at how the Thule Helium XT fits on the 2014 Toyota Prius V. So for your Toyota Prius V, you do have different options for hitch receivers. I currently have the two inch hitch on there, but I do see a lot of people with the inch and a quarter hitch receiver option. When you have that smaller receiver size, your options are limited for bike racks, especially the more premium ones. So this is a great option, because you have that inch and a quarter shank, the included two inch adapter, and you still have that dual wheel mount design and premium features, like locks and a slightly higher weight capacity.
Saris Freedom Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v

So whether you have an inch and a quarter hitch or a two inch hitch receiver, this could be a bike rack that works out for you. So the Saris Freedom is a popular option for people that have inch and a quarter hitch receivers, but still want to carry around their heavier bike racks or bikes. Now also if you have an alternate frame like a step through frame or a women's frame, because of how this frame out fits, people like that too. Now I have a two inch hitch receiver here on my car, but this also works for that because it has an included adapter.

Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v

So, the OnRamp is the bike rack that you would use if you have extra heavy electric bikes and you can't really lift them up onto your bike rack. There are other bike racks that have ramps but this is one of the few that has the ramp secured to the rack itself. That way, you don't have to worry about accidentally forgetting to bring the ramp.

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our Curt Premium hanging bike rack right here on our 2014 Toyota Prius v. This is what I consider one of the most family-friendly bike racks just because of the way it can carry around multiple bikes, so that makes it easier for those smaller children's bikes or alternate frame bikes as well. So your Toyota Prius v is a larger style of Prius. It can carry more people, more cargo, and with this, you can carry more bikes too. So what I have here is the four-bike version, but you can also get this as a five-bike version.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our Kuat Sherpa two-bike platform rack, right here on a 2014 Toyota Prius V. The Kuat Sherpa is probably one of the best bike racks that checks off all the boxes, but does them well. So, if you're looking for a nice premium bike rack with that premium Kuat look, without being as heavy, as bulky, or as pricey as something like the Kuat NV, that's where the Kuat Sherpa comes in handy. So this is gonna be a two-bike platform rack.
Saris Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v
Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline right here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our Saris Bones EX 2 Trunk-Mounted Bike Rack right here on our 2014 Prius V. So you have your Toyota Prius V and you also wanna carry around bikes. Now I would always recommend first off the bat, please get a hitch-mounted bike rack, just because you get a little bit more stability that way and it's easier to use. But if by any chance you don't have a hitch or can't get a hitch onto your Prius V, since it usually doesn't come with one, your other options are to either get a roof-mounted bike rack or a trunk-mounted bike rack. Now your Prius is also really good with the gas mileage, so I understand some people don't wanna put their bikes on your roof and a trunk-mounted bike rack is your next best option.
What our customers are saying:
"I ordered a trailer hitch and a bike rack carrier the order was shipped with in three days. To put the hitch on only took about 30 mins. only had to drill two 1/2 holes. fit like a glove."
