Also, we didn't have an issue of clearance, either, between our rear hatch and the box as well. This does have a carrying capacity of 110 pounds, but you always want to double check with the vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can take those weights, and it has dual sided opening as well, meaning it can open on either the passenger or the driver side, and so, you can have this more towards either side depending on whichever side you want to load your gear on.It does come with a set of keys and locks, and once it's in the unlocked position, you can't remove the key so that reduces the ability of locking these in the box, which I have done several times before on others, and then we also have this button on the side here as well. Push that in and that opens it up.It does come with the two straps to tighten up your gear so it doesn't shift back and forth while you drive, and it also has these memory mounts, which is how it attaches to your roof rack system. You close the clamp and the two clamps on the other side will grip your existing roof rack system and stay in place. It also has this gray dial on the side.
