Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs
This was so easy to put together. It fits great on my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. I plan on loading all the camping gear in it when we go on vacation. The folks at ETrailer.com have been great inn keeping me up to date on the status of my order.
The product it’s self is great. It’s a Thule product so you know what you’re getting when you order it. Very stylish and the coating on the basket seems like it will hold up. This is something that is not meant to be taken on and off regularly. It does take some time to install the basket. I did it myself in about an hour. I do feel like the plastic wind shield on it could have had a better set up. Doesn’t look to strong but time will tell etrailer customer service also gets 5 stars I ordered this on sale on Black Friday. The item took about 2 weeks to ship but once it did it only took 2 days to arrive. I recieved several emails updating me on my order status which was great comminitication. It seems that basket was delayed due to supplies from Thule because other retailers stopped taking orders on it. Overall the basket looks great on my Subaru Crosstrek and is what I expected from the product.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
I already reviewed this product, just adding a few pictures of it on our vehicle. The hatch clears the carrier when empty, but loaded might be a different story. Just have to make sure we load the trunk first.
Package arrived as scheduled. Packaging was not in the best shape, looks like it had been caught on something and one side was ripped open, then taped shut. I opened the box and the packaging around the shelf was not real secure, causing the shelf to slide back and forth inside the box. This caused some minor scuffing on the rails of the shelf, but nothing major. Assembly was easy, but I would recommend that when you put it together, start with the two plates that join the shelf, then use the three bolts for the actual hitch post. I did it the other way and when I tightened the three bolts, it separated the shelf on the top side. I ended up using a tie-down strap to pull the tow pieces together so that I could get rid of the gap on the top rail of the shelf. Once I did this, the shelf came together just fine. The anti-rattle locking hitch pint is GREAT! Installed easily and eliminated any extra movement from the shelf. Equipment is satisfactory, shipping and packaging could use some improvements. Overall satisfied with the purchases.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…
The rack and extension arrived in sturdy boxes, well packed and no damage in shipping. The parts fit together easily. The welds left something to be desired, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. As a precaution against corrosion,I got some plasti-dip, which is a rubberized vinyl sealant and sealed all the places where moisture could get into the various tubes of the rack. I was satisfied with the quality of the powder coating on all the parts. The mounting system to the roof rack is interesting and appears well-designed. The assembly and installation instructions are OK, but could have been written better. For example, there is an extra tightening knob for the U-bolts, but no description if it is there as a spare.

SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box - Roof Mount - 18 cu ft - Black
Our SportRack cargo box has worked as hoped / advertised since we bought it over a year ago. What initially attracted me to this particular product was the size and design - it holds A LOT, and the way it opens from the back has helped protect our stuff from getting wet and damaged.
The sportrack vista xl is great! This was our first attempt at a roof mounted cargo box and it has preformed exceprionally well! I purchased this as a gift for my wife, to go on her Subaru Crosstrek. We live in western NC, and have used this to go to the outer banks of NC, eastern Tennessee, and even to bring home supplies from Sam's Club! It's super easy and quick to install, even for one person, and we've been fortunate enough to not have a single leak yet; even though we've been through heavy downpours! And there's plenty of room! If you're in the market for a rooftop cargo box this is the way to go.

23x47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier w/ Lid - 2" Hitches - Steel - 450 lbs
arrived on time. assembled the cage looks and fits good will take pictures next week
The Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier arrived quickly and functioned as advertised. Just what I needed for a week-long cross-country roadtrip. However, after driving through rain on a few different days, the carrier began to rust and is now rusted in multiple locations around the carrier.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide - 165 lbs
Great product. Great quality. Instructions not real clear, so took me a couple of hours to assemble. Then another 15-20 minutes to secure to roof racks. I was working alone, extra hands would have helped. But extremely happy with quality and looks of product. We have lots of family that visit us, so I plan to carry luggage on the rack to free up space inside the vehicle on trips to and from the airport.
Love it! It's big enough to fit a bike carrier and a cargo bag on top of my MINI. Easy to assemble and install, solid construction. Great value for your money. If I have a gripe it's that the wind fairing on the front is VERY thin/fragile. I caught it with my bike tire when loading one day and the corner snapped right off like nothing. It's only about $XXX for the replacement.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
I bought this cargo carrier to haul my wife's wheelchair when we go on vacation. The "foldable connection bar" is not long enough to let me fold the cargo carrier up on my 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. I could have bought an aluminum carrier locally that did not fold up.
This cargo carrier was excellent for a cross-country roadtrip we took last summer and we've used it many times since! We use it with our 2019 Subaru Crosstrek.

24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
This is an excellent buy. Great price and a well made product. Easy to assemble, takes five to ten minutes.
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
Looks and fits well on my '13 Crosstrek. Overall build quality and ease of installation met my expectations. The folks at etrailer.com "exceeded" my expectations! Prompt service and excellent follow-up! Keep up the great work!
Received roof basket quick and in great condition, save for missing one of the tube fastener screws. It was easy to put together and install, although it took me just over an hour to do, but that's mostly because I'm anal. I really like this basket as it seems to sit lower on my factory roof rack than other brands I've seen on the same vehicle (2015 Subaru XTrek), and that makes it look much better (IMHO). It also comes with a wind deflector which was easy to install and Adds to it's appearance. I would highly recommend this product and etrailer to friends and family. Etrailer, please keep up the great work and service your provide, as I find it to be very useful and very much appreciated. Btw: This was not my first order with etrailer, so my experience with them is also based on previous orders, and no I have affiliation with etrailer, I'm just a very happy customer.

20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
This is an excellent buy. Great price and a well made product. Easy to assemble, takes five to ten minutes.
This is great cargo basket: solid and secure, easy assembly, well designed. The angled neck keeps the basket well away from the ground; I haven’t had any problems with it bottoming out. My first use was actually on a trip back from Florida following Powered Paragliding training. I was intending to bring back just a Paramotor (which would have stood vertically inside the basket), but ended up bringing back a whole Trike assembly! Mounted it on the basket as shown, and it rode just fine back through four states. Got a lot of looks on the way home! I concur with an earlier reviewer that a neat trick is to use a stabilizer strap from the hitch to the corner of the basket. There is plenty of slop in the receiver when the neck is inserted, and a short ratcheting tie down cancels the rattle effectively. I’m very pleased with this purchase; and while I don’t plan to haul around anything as big as that trike, I look forward to many more years of use from it!

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
Fast shipping easy to assemble haven't mounted to my son's 2016 crosstrek yet
Exactly what I needed! Looks good and super easy to install. You may or may not have the U-bolts stick into the basket but simply cut them down to size, maybe even place rubber tips on them. That aside, great purchase. Finally free up some room in my Subaru Crosstrek during trips.

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Carrier and box will be moved to hitch on 209 Solitude Rv to provide extra cargo carrying ability
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.

Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs
I can't say I'm entirely happy with my purchase. The instructions were more confusing than helpful. Note in "instruction.jpg" photo of STEP 1 that the text says to put the 8 small bolts in from the inside first, but the drawing clearly shows them as going in from the outside. The last step says to place the ramp onto the receiver as shown.... glad I didn't throw away the box because there is no drawing that shows ramp installation. Actually, the photo on the box was more helpful than any of the instructions. Also, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy longer medium bolts because the ones that came with the carrier were not long enough to fully engage the self locking feature of the nylon lock nuts. At a minimum a couple of threads should protrude beyond the nylon. See photo "nut.jpg". The bolt threads don't reach the end of the nylon, so the self locking feature is not fully engaged. I did tighten the nut, but that was as far as it would go. I think once I get back from the hardware store with the new medium bolts and after I reverse the 8 small bolts (I followed the drawing and not the text of the instructions), I'll be OK with the carrier.
"Instantly Get Rid of Wobble and Upgrade With Lights" This is not a 5 because ramp should be longer & there should be some type stabilizer to temporary hold bike while strapping down, I'd pay more for those upgrades. The wobble can instantly be solved by hooking Tie-Straps closest to vehicle directly to the receiver where you hook your chains, rather than hooking them to the provided holes on carrier itself. You of course use the provided strap holes ones on the opposite side. When strapped down as stated, the carrier now becomes one with the vehicle & @ 80mph there is no wobble. (*TIP: Put ramp back in its place before strapping down or else it won't fit with the strap hooks in the way.) I upgraded mine with lights for both safety reasons & not needing the Police any reason to pull me over. It was very simple and cost me nothing but time & maybe $50. I recommend this product whole heartedly.

Yakima SkyBox 21 Rooftop Cargo Box - 21 cu ft - Black Carbonite
It fit my subaru crosstrek perfectly, i haven't loaded it yet but it's exactly what I had hoped for. Thanks etrailer!
First, I'd like to commend etrailer.com for the efficient, damage-free shipping mode they wisely selected. The carrier contacted me to complete the delivery, and the shipment tracking was very helpful. Second, the sturdy and well-designed Yakima Skybox was easy to install, out of the box to the ATV roof racks, with easy-to-understand instructions resulting in a perfect installation.

Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black AeroSkin
great, matte finish and the Large size is perfect for a 2016 Subuaru Crosstrek. Doesn't look egregiously large, but has substantial storage space. The only drawback is that the locking mechanism sometimes has difficulty locking because of all the plastic components, which is annoying, but just requires a little more TLC.
I got this to expand the storage of my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek on road trips and camping trips. It's a great fit on my car. It's super easy to attach and detach from the roof rack - just set it on the crossbars, locate where the clamps should go, then turn the knob on each clamp until the jaws are tight enough. No worries about not tightening enough or over tightening, because the clamps act much like gas caps where they start clicking when the proper clamp force is achieved. I haven't experienced much moisture while using this, but due to the design of the adjustable clamps there is a small chance that water could get into the cargo compartment from the bottom. Another added bonus of this specific cargo carrier with my specific car is that the small diamond haircell texture matches the texture of the black cladding of the Subaru Crosstrek really well. Overall, I am super happy with this purchase with no complaints.

Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 52" Long x 48" Wide
The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.
Took a few months to get because covid-19 slowed production but worth the wait. It's awsome
Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack XTray Pro Cargo Basket and 2 Bike Carrier, part number RRRMCB03.This measures 58" long by 43" wide, so there's plenty of space on the interior of the basket to store a lot of gear, anything from your luggage to your sporting goods equipment to your camping gear, plus there are two thru axle mounts up at the front here to carry up to two bikes. This does have a carrying capacity of 165 pounds, but you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can take those weights. We already have it partially installed on our roof here. I want to show you the rest of the process. It does come with all hardware necessary to tighten it down. How we start there's going to be this plastic bracket that we've already installed here that goes in between your roof rack system and the cargo basket itself. On top of that, we have this metal bracket that's going to kind of push into place here like so.

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek, we're going to be test fitting the INNO Wedge 660 rooftop cargo box, part number INBRN660WH.This comes in a gloss white color, but it also comes in a gloss black as well, and this has very sleek design to it with an aerodynamic shape, which is going to help cut down wind noise and drag while you drive. This has 11 cubic feet of space to work with on inside, and you can store anything from your skis, your snowboards, fishing poles, camping gear or just regular luggage, too, everything you want to keep out from the inside of your vehicle or make more space for the inside of your vehicle.Coming to the back portion of it, it has this nice curved back end here on which you can see, we didn't have to remove our rear antennae here once we installed it. Also, we didn't have an issue of clearance, either, between our rear hatch and the box as well. This does have a carrying capacity of 110 pounds, but you always want to double check with the vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can take those weights, and it has dual sided opening as well, meaning it can open on either the passenger or the driver side, and so, you can have this more towards either side depending on whichever side you want to load your gear on.It does come with a set of keys and locks, and once it's in the unlocked position, you can't remove the key so that reduces the ability of locking these in the box, which I have done several times before on others, and then we also have this button on the side here as well. Push that in and that opens it up.It does come with the two straps to tighten up your gear so it doesn't shift back and forth while you drive, and it also has these memory mounts, which is how it attaches to your roof rack system. You close the clamp and the two clamps on the other side will grip your existing roof rack system and stay in place. It also has this gray dial on the side.

How it works is this plastic piece here is going to snap into the actual carrier itself, then we'll take this metal plate which sets on top, then take our u-bolt with this rubber coating on it so it won't scratch up your roof rack.
