Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hey there Jeep owners. Today on our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at showing you some features of the Swagman XC2 bike rack. The XC is a platform style two bike rack. It holds your bike in position with the top hook here that puts down pressure on your top tube into the wheels in the hoop style wheel cradles here. It's one of the more basic entry-level bike racks, but it really gets the job done. If you're trying to haul two bikes to your favorite destination.

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Collin: Hey everyone, I'm Collin here at Etrailer. Today we have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We're going to be test fitting the Swagman Semi 4.0, two bike rack. And this is the platform style rack that allows you to transport two bikes to and from your destination. Really cool feature about it, is that you do have the option to transport this, or transform this, excuse me, to a four bike platform rack. You can either get it as a full kit, it'd be one box, or if you already have this two bike version, you'd like to add on two bikes to carry four, you can get that add on separately here to Etrailer. Now the bike rack is going to grip your bike at two different points.

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Today on our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4-Bike Rack for Fat Bikes. That's part number HR1400-FB. So, I've already got it loaded up just to give you an idea of what it looks like and how it's going to hold our bikes. Now not only does it hold fat bikes, but it's going to hold your standard bikes as well. So, you're going to get a set of cradles that'll hold both bikes.Right away, one of its best features is it can be tilted away, excuse me, from the vehicle with bikes loaded so it can access that rear hatch. Now how you do that is you remove the snapper pin here and you can kind of lift up on the rear-end of the bike rack to pull that out.
