Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Dodge Journey

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2014 Dodge Journey, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium platform-style bike rack.So today on our Journey, we have the rack that can hold up to a total of two bikes, but if you don't need to carry two, there's a one bike version available as well. Now what really separates this platform-style rack from many of the others is how it's going to secure your bike. It's going to use two-wheel hooks. So one on the back tire and one on the front tire. And it's pretty unique. A lot of the other platform racks only use one wheel hook and usually a small strap or something like that here in the back. So, with two hooks, it's going to do a great job of keeping your bike secure. And because of that design, we're able to do something pretty cool.
