Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Heavy Duty - Long Spindle - 4" Lift - 5 Bolt - 3.5K
Be warned! I would not buy from Etrailer ever again. We received our order and Etrailer failed to send the entire trailer axle kit. They did not include one spindle in the kit, rendering our order useless without ordering an additional spindle. Because more than 30 days had elapsed before reporting the issue, Etrailer refused to send the spindle, in addition to insinuating that I was deceiving them. This must be how they increase their revenues…don’t send the entire order, and if the customer does not catch it within 30 days, the customer loses and Etrailer makes more money. Absolutely horrible customer service from the company who failed to fulfill their end of the contract while accusing me of being deceptive. One star is far too generous for Etrailer and their scams.
Very pleased with the design and heavy duty construction of these axles. Used them to build an off-road trailer and they performed flawlessly throughout many challenging trails and off road situations. My only complaint is that the ez-lube hub design does not take grease very easily. I've had to disassemble the hubs to properly grease both bearings due to the inadequate amount of grease flowing into the bearings.

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Heavy Duty - Long Spindle w/ 4" Lift - 4 Bolt - 2K
Used this on a camping trailer behind our Jeep. The suspension handled 1000 miles of washboard gravel roads and mild rocky offroading with ease. We don't drive gently and had the trailer airborne at one point. The brackets that we opted to fabricate for them were straightforward and simple to install. I especially like the ground clearance under the trailer that you gain due to the lack of a solid traditional axle. The ride quality overall was excellent, especially given where we took it. In hindsight we should have gotten the 4" travel version as it may have been able to soak up deep ruts at 40mph a bit better. Only mild complaint is that the powdercoating on the leading edges had already begun to flake off when we received the suspension. I hit it with a can of spray paint, but I would have hoped it would be more durable. Overall, I will definitely be purchasing this axle-less suspension again for my next trailer build.
Excellent, helpful customer service sold me this product, and trust me when I say it's worth the price tag. Pulled the old axle and leaf spring off a 60's era Bantam and swapped out for this with a support bar in between. Bumped up tires to 315/75r16 BFG TA/KO's to match my rig and am amazed at how much better this trailer now pulls. Empty it wad bouncing all over the place with the old axle and leaf spring setup. Now I hardly even know it's there. Was very easy to install, took a couple hours but I am happy with how it turned out. A+++ product and customer service!

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension w Electric Brakes - Standard Duty - No Drop - 5 on 4-1/2 - 3.5K
These axles were a perfect retrofit for a vintage tralier rebuild/mod. Service at etrailer was excellent. The parts were easy to fit with a little care. I would recommend this product and this supplier to anyone looking for trailer parts.
I am satisfied with the overall craftmanship of the product. But I was disappointed with the welding on the spindles. none of the weld splatter was buffed off, and the welds looked gobbed on, unlike all the other welds which look good.

Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Idler Hubs - EZ-Lube - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 89" Long - 3,500 lbs
These axles work great. I replaced three axles on my trailer last fall (2022) with these axles. I was able to install the new axles and springs in about 3 hours because everything matched up very nicely - thanks to the help of the folks at etrailer.
I installed the Dexter axle on my trailer yesterday, and I was very impressed with the quality and the ease of installation. The install took much less time than expected, and this was helped by the hubs having the bearing pre-installed, what a bonus! This is a great solution to replace a fried axle, I highly recommend it.

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension w/ Idler Hubs - Standard Duty - No Drop - 5 on 4-1/2 - 2K
Very smooth pull. I'm very impressed on how the trailer pulls. My traditional axle trailer seemed to bounce a lot on the highway which made a lot of noise, but with the Timbren Axle-less that I installed on a new trailer, the trailer is so smooth and way less noise. Great product.
I used these axles in a different way than most would. I needed a trailer that was small, could handle tight switch-backs, carry 600 lbs and be light. I had this idea and as a retired design engineer I saw a great possibility in this axle. I have made four of these trailers now, one as a camp trailer, 2 for trail work for State Parks and one as a utility trailer.

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Heavy Duty - Long Spindle w/ No Drop - 4 Bolt Flange - 2.2K
The service from etrailer has been great! They have been very helpful through the entire purchasing process. My one star is due to the quality of the product. First, for something as heavy duty as these are, you’d expect better packaging. On arrival, one of the spindles was sticking out of the box and the hand holds were torn on one of the other boxes. I was a little worried what I might find in the damaged box but everything seems to be intact. The disappointing part is the quality of the welds. For the price you are spending on these, I would expect a higher quality of fabrication. There is undercut in the welds that hold the three support plates together and big ol sloppy welds every where else. Unsure of what to do as my trailer has been designed around this suspension system.
I found etrailer.com looking for these. A very knowledgeable gentleman helped me select the proper self-adjusting brakes and drums for the axles I bought.

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Heavy Duty - Long Spindle w/ 4" Lift - 4 Bolt - 2.2K
Incredible system. Handled our Overland trek through Colorado and Moab. These axles on our 1917 Ford bed ran multiple Jeep Badge of Honor trails. The suspension handled flawlessly. Handles off camber rocks and drop offs smoothly. We ran the 4 inch lift and off road offset to fit the factory Jeep wheels.
Josh helped guide me to the right product, ensured I had any and all additional items to finish the project. Well done Josh and THANKS!

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Standard Duty - 4" Lift - 4 Bolt Flange - 3,500 lbs
The trailer rides great down the road and no more worries about saltwater and rusty leaf springs. Not a cheap option but I’m very happy with the setup. When installing, just be sure to measure accurately and have sharp drill bits. A drill press type of guide also helps ensure correct drilling angles. The first picture is of a mounting gusset a local welding shop made. One is needed for each side and necessary to provide needed mounting strength-at least on my trailer frame. Pics 2 and 3 show the mounted suspension on one side of the trailer. Pic 4 shows the suspension on one side of the trailer with the axle attached and a separately purchased disc brake assembly mounted on it. Finally, pic 5 shows a 2” box channel between both suspension assemblies. Independent suspensions would have been nice, but I wanted to ensure trailer rigidity was maintained. So, after one year, so far, so good. It’s all smooth sailing down the highway.
We use Timbren's ASR3500S06 on all of our XER trailers. We couldn't be happier. It is a well built suspension.

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Heavy Duty - 2" Lift - 5 Bolt Flange - 3,500 lbs
I was looking for a low profile axle system for my motorcycle trailer. The primary requirement was to be able to load my motorcycle by myself which required a low-profile trailer. With the 4" drop provided by Timbren, this setup turned out great. I originally intended on using ramps but after I swapped the leaf spring axle out with the Timbren, I found I was able to ride my motorcycle on/off without the need for the ramps. Originally, I was going to go axle-less but I found when torquing down the assembly to my frame it started to compress the aluminum rail. To take the pressure off the frame I added the 2" bar from axle to axle. Pulls smooth and effortlessly. I've had several people comment on the trailer height with one wanting to buy the trailer from me. This person worked at the local Honda Dealership. He thought it was a great design and I would imagine he's seen a variety of trailers come through his lot. The other option I considered was a torsion axle but I was looking for the lowest profile I could get. Therefore, cost was not a key factor. I also like the soft ride the Timbren system provides. Not sure if the torsion design would have been as smooth over bumpy roads. Regardless, I'm pleased with how this project came out.

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Standard Duty - No Drop - 4 Bolt Flange - 1,200 lbs
The order came in on time and the customer service at etrailer.com (Ashley) and Sean from Tmbren was outstanding. They both were very helpful in my choosing the right product for my needs. The axle less suspension's performance is absolutely superb. It vastly improves ride quality. I am using it on a teardrop camper that often goes on gravel roads and the raddling sound from the leaf axles was horrible. A couple of points to consider before you settle on the axle less suspension: keep in mind that you will lose some hight of the trailer. While you will gain clearance from the lack of the axle, the suspension will make the trailer sit lower than before.i had to lower my hitch by an inch to maintain the trailer leveled. Also it does appear to compress at higher rate than the leaf springs, which makes it softer but easier to reach it's limit. Overall this product is absolutely a must if you are looking to improve the safety and the quality of your towing.

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Heavy Duty - No Drop - 4 Bolt Flange - 2,000 lbs
Here are some pictures of my Timbren axle installation. I used a 2000# axle and a 3500# spindle combination. I am running a original 14" tire. It was a moderately easy installation.
Supply Chain Stinks! But Shawnee E with etrailer came through with options!

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Standard Duty - 4" Lift - 5 Bolt Flange - 5,200 lbs
Installed the Timbren Axle-less suspension a little over a year ago and approximately 5000 miles ago. I have been extremely satisfied with the installation and performance thus far and have had no issues. I also chose to install an optional crossmember for more strength using a 1/4" thick piece of 2x3 steel. I had to increase the weight capacity of my campers suspension due to renovating the interior completely and adding more weight. I also strengthened the frame to accommodate the extra weight. In addition to installing the Timbren 5200LB system I installed new 12" electric brakes and upgraded to 225/75R15 tires with E load range rating.
I put these on an off-road trailer build. They have been fantastic! I've done many miles and they held up great. Highly recommend.

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension w/ Idler Hubs - Standard Duty - No Drop - 4 on 4 - 1,200 lbs
The axle-less suspension worked very well for my boat trailer. The suspension was easy to attach to the trailer frame and provided a lower profile than the traditional leaf spring and axle system.
Customer service was excellent! Thanks!

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Standard Duty - No Drop - 4 Bolt Flange - 3,500 lbs
Trailer suspension and disk brake performance is outstanding big big difference over leaf spring and electric drum brakes. Installation required modifications to the frame to monut the timbren suspension
Timbren saved our RV road trip! The leafs on the axle on our 2018 Jayco TT came apart while driving in Maryland. We tried going to the manufacturer, but they were useless. Going to a RV mechanic meant being grounded for at least 2 months. Then we found Timbren. With the help of Timbren's excellent staff we purchased axle-less system through etrailer, who made sure we got as quick as possible. It came ahead of schedule, my husband installed the Timbren system and we were back on the road! The axle-less system is better than the original manufacturers. If you plan on taking your RV or TT farther than 100 miles GET THIS INSTALLED and get it through etrailer.

Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with 4" Drop E-Z Lube Spindles - 95" Long - 3,500 lbs
I have had this axle on my trailer for a year now and could not be happier with it. Customer service was great dealing with them. I would highly recommend getting items for your trailer from here.
Mission accompolished just a few minutes ago. The attached (3) images attached tell the story. Any customer relocating spring seats should measure closely before welding new seats in place to fit their trailer needs. Again your technical assistance and quick order leave me a very very satisfied customer.. [Thumbs up]

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Heavy Duty - 4" Lift - 4 Bolt Flange - 2,000 lbs
I think their axle-less design is very clever. The build quality of the suspension part looks good. I have heartburn over the spindle build quality. The spindle is mounted to the suspension and then the trailer wheel mounts on the spindle. The spindles I received are warped from welding. The plate that bolts onto the suspension does not mount flat due to this warping. I called Timbren. The gentleman that helped me was very pleasant. I described the problems and he said he would check his inventory and call me back. He did call me back and said they are all like that. He said get out the grinder and fix what you can and just tighten the bolts super tight, maybe the gap will go away. Really? Wow. The other problems are a LOT of weld spatter where the bolts are supposed to fit and they made a bend in the plate too close to the bolt holes so two bolt heads hit the bend and dont fit flat against the part they are supposed to hold together. Yikes! I am taking the spindles to a machine shop to fix them but I would not have ordered this Timbren stuff had I been warned before hand. So, fair warning.
Great product so far after 1 year. Everthing is holding up and i have put it to good use on multiple occasions. The lift kit made my trailer off road capable and performed to my expectations.

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Standard Duty - 4" Drop - 4 Bolt Flange - 3,500 lbs
I purchased the 3500 lb. set w/4" drop. Wish they made a 2" drop. Install was fairly easy, but most of your time will be consumed with alignment measurements, acquiring shims, and making adjustments. I was lucky to have a very square trailer frame. However, the "slop" in the all of the mounting bolts (especially, the spindle mounts) is more than the 1/8" window they specify. You will want to preload all bolts before tightening, and then measure for alignment/toe-in. The units are supposed to have camber built-in, but it's not near enough (more shims). Also, this suspension has more travel then the documents indicated. I had to re-mount my fenders 1" higher to keep the tires front hitting. When fully loaded, you might have 1" of travel left. All that being said, the ride is better than I anticipated. It's less bouncy than a torsion axle, and very quiet. If I was building a trailer from scratch, I would use this system, again.
Very nice quality, I had to call Timbren with a question very good company to deal with and etrailer is a first class company very good customer service.
