Best 2012 Ram 3500 Gooseneck Hitches

When I placed my order I was given the option of taking a slightly used item for a nice discount. It arrived and looks BRAND NEW! I am happy once again for the quick service and great products from etrailer.

Excellent product simple installation great price would recommend to anyone one in need of a goose neck ball. Etrailer was great to deal with they were in always in contact the hole process and followed up in the end all around great experience.

For the DIY person, this is an amazing simple and straight forward installation. The only change I would suggest is to use BOLD print when it comes to installation of the front support indicating the two outer holes need to be at the top. Quality materials and went together very well. Thank you

The Gooseneck hitch that I received had already been opened and obviously was somebody elses return. Spent over $[XX] and received someones return. It appears not to have pulled a trailer but was inserted into someones truck recepter by the visible dirt and even the rubber cover insert is dirty. Did not expect that from etrailer.

Solid hitch, well made, purchased specifically for the ability to support a medium size fifth wheel trailer but easily removed from the truck bed when not needed.

Measurment for the hole in the box is perfect, all components were there. It's a easy install took me 1 hour. I would recommend this hitch for anyone.

I really liked the product and it got to me in a timely maner. The only thing that was wrong was I was 4 lock nuts short (the ones that go the the safty chain u bolts) and 2 washers short. I dont live in town so I had to drive 30min to go get thoes few parts. There cheap parts so its not worth contacting the company and haveing to wait another week for them. It was easy to put in and works like a champ.

Curt and Pollak make a great product and etrailer is a great site, I come here for all my towing needs now! My only issue is that the instructions for the gooseneck hitch were kind of vague. I got it on in about 3 1/2 hours taking my time and making sure it was right. Other than that I would purchase a Curt and Pollak product again!

Easy installation. We had 3 guys and were done in 20 minutes less than instructions said. Works fine as frog's hair! When measuring the hole in the bed remember to measure from the front of the bed and rear! Then look underneath for the bed crossmember.

Just purchased a 2020 GMC 3500 Denali with the OEM package. The OEM package did not include the gooseneck ball and chain hooks. So after looking around I purchased the B&W Ball and safety chain kit from etrailer.com and what a great choice. Product works great. I love the look and the safety latch/ handle on the ball itself, keeps from getting grease on your hands when installing/removing the ball. Excellent product

Great hitch and easy to use. I did have to lift up the bed a little bit to install it. Took me about 5 hours because of that but otherwise it is a great hitch. The rings for the safety chains stay on the bed and the ball flips over and stows away completely.

Works like a charm. Works in both my Ford 350 and my GMC 3500.

Excellent customer service. They were out of the item I originally ordered. Sales contacted me immediately and showed me other similar products. I was able to purchase an even better product than I originally ordered. I’ll use etrailer.com for my future trailer needs.

For the price of the product, packaging was terrible, product arrived with paint missing from several large areas due to shipping damage. Box was barely intact when it arrived. Also was missing one of the large grade 8 4.25” long bolts. So after a trip to the hardware store to replace the missing bolt and buy some paint to fix the damaged finish, got it installed pretty easy.

Excellent underbody hitch system. Installation went well once the body was off. If your installing on a late model ford you may want to be sure you have new bed bolts available. Ford says they are not reusable for some reason but it did not matter in my case. Even though I put PB rust blaster on 2 days in advance the cage nuts broke the cage and spun. Ended up having to grind the tops off to remove the body and then using some heat to custom bend a box end wrench to get into the box frame so I was able to remove the (now) studs. This was on a 4 year old truck but New England winters at work here i’m sure. Once the body was off installation was a breeze. Fit is perfect.

Great product w great instructions. It was an affordable package that installed decently. We have used the hitch for a year now and have had zero issues w it. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars was because the cross bars that go between the frame rails needed to have the threaded holes chased w a tap to remove the powder coating prior to installation. I initially tried installing it without chasing the threads and the bolts started to get very tight before the parts even pulled together. Once the threads were clean, everything assembled very well. The hitch takes time to install, at least if you want it to look good and be correct. On a 1500 ram, you will probably need to install some form of helper spring or air bags to prevent the rear from squatting from the weight of the gooseneck trailer…the factory 1500 coil springs are not firm enough on their own.
