Best 2011 Chevrolet Silverado Gooseneck Options

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the best gooseneck hitches available for the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. Let's take a look through the three hitches that we've got picked out. We've got our Curt double lock. We've got the B&W Turnoverball, and we're also going to have the Draw-Tite Hide-a-Goose. Now, all three of these hitches are under bed mount. This is the ideal solution for goosenecks rather than the old ball that always stuck up in the middle of the bed. These allow us full access to use our truck bed as we'd want to.

Video: etrailer.com. etrailer.com.Speaker 3: Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD we're going to be showing how to install the Draw-Tite hide-a-goose underbed gooseneck trailer hitch with installation kit. Rated for up to 30,000 lbs, the part number is 9465-56. Now, when not in use, this is what our gooseneck is going to look like. It's going to be nice and convenient. As you can see this has the drop-in style bed liner and our safety chains re going to sit just about flush with the top of that. They would sit lower if this wasn't in here but you see we just put some zip ties on it so you get ahold of them. On a spray-in bed liner or a normal bed liner you won't have to deal with that. We're going to have a small magnetic cap that's going to sit right on top of the gooseneck.

Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Silverado - Curt

Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with a 6 1/2 foot bed we'll be taking a look at and installing the CURT double lock flip and store under bed gooseneck hitch with installation kit, part number C607-604. Here's what our gooseneck is going to look like once it's installed. You're going to see that it's going to have a nice flush look on the back of the vehicle. Everything is going to be low profile, down in the corrugation, and you'll even have a cover over the top when you don't have any use and when it's in the stowed position. That cover is included. It's going to have a real easy installation. The only drilling is going to be to put that four-inch hole in the bed of the truck and the two holes for the chain tie-downs that are going to be spring-loaded on the sides.

B and W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Silverado

Today in our 2011 Chevy Silverado we'll be installing the BNW under bed gooseneck trailer hitch. Part number BWGNRK1012. We'll go ahead and go over operation of our new gooseneck hitch. With our gooseneck handle in the lock position, we'll need to unlock it to put our gooseneck ball in place. We'll pull the handle out, rotate the handle forward to hold it out in the unlock position. Then we'll go ahead and take our gooseneck ball, drop it in place, and relock the handle by pulling out on the handle, shifting it back towards the rear of the vehicle, letting it go and the spring will lock it into place.
