To begin our test fit, well place the bike rack on top of our factor cross bar, well move to the rear mounting point where well undo the wing nut and bring the clamp underneath the crossbar where well use the wing nut to secure the rear clamp. Well move up to the front crossbar where well use the rubber-coated steel straps to go underneath the crossbar and hook back to the head of the bike rack. We can then use the Allen wrench included with the bike rack to tighten down the Allen bolt securing our rubber-coated steel straps to the front crossbar. With that done, we can reinstall the head cover on our bike rack and now were ready to load up our bike. Well take the front wheel off of our bike and place the bike on top of the bike rack.
