After watching the etrailer installation video on youtube, I decided I could install this hitch on my own. As a first timer I was able to install this hitch and am very pleased with the result. I like the double lock and the turn over ball. When I'm not pulling my horse trailer, the ball will turn over freeing the bed for other uses. I did have questions during the installation and found the people at customer services to be extremely helpful. Especially Paula and Sammie.
Fits like it's supposed to. Does take a good 3 1/2 hrs to install. Hole was hardest part. Truck bed metal is very hard to go through even with new hole saw. Don't let it walk with you and do go the 44 1/4" from end of bed. I went 44 1/8 and had a little trouble with bolts touching cross bar. Great Quality !! watch [online videos] it really helps alot.

I am impressed with the service that I received. The hitch and installation brackets arrived within 4 days of when I ordered them. The quality of the hitch and materials is exactly as depicted on the website. After reading the installation instructions, installing the hitch should be a fairly simple project. The only problem I see is that I will have to drill one hole on each side frame but since I haven't installed it yet I don't know how easy it will be. I will follow up once I have it installed

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to take a look at, and also show you how to install, the curt double lock flip and store under bed gooseneck hitch with installation kit. Part number is C60712. Here's what our gooseneck is going to look like installed and not in use. That's one of the biggest advantages to the flip and store system is that we're able to use our bed completely when not in use. We're not like the old school style where we just had a ball always sticking up in the middle of the bed. When we're ready for use, we're going to pull the black rubberized protective cap off. That keeps out any dirt, grime, stuff like that.
Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado
Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado were going to be installing the Blue Ox Underbed Goose Neck Trailer Hitch, part number DH1307. One thing that sets this goose neck apart from others is its ability to allow you to install or remove the goose neck ball without having to go around to the wheel well to pull the handle to unlock or lock the goose neck ball in place. Before we show you how to install this kit well show you what it looks like and how it works. To install the goose neck ball youll line it up with the hole, place it in and push in the locking tab and twist. This will lock it into position. To remove it you simply reverse that process. When not in use you can simply turn it upside down and lower it into place. Now lets show you how to install it.
