Best 2009 Chevrolet Silverado Towing Mirrors

I installed these on my 09 Silverado in a couple of minutes. Now I can see my trailers much better when traveling and backing. Great product at a good price.

Got them for a great price on e-trailer. I haven't used them for towing yet, but I put them on and took them off. They blend in with the original mirrors and look factory original. They do clip on very tightly, and it takes fairly strong hands to put them on and take them off. I was afraid I would break them when I was taking them off, but they finally snapped off OK. I think they clip on so tight so they do not vibrate. Once they snap on, it is like they are part of the original mirror; the plastic color and texture matches and they don't wiggle or vibrate. They are not great big towing mirrors, but more like an extension of your regular mirror, so I will find out how the smaller mirror area works when I use them for towing.

The mirrors are freaking awesome. Was easy to take off old mirrors and install new ones. Second day I had them on my Silverado, someone asked where I got them. I told them etrailer.com. They ordered a pair right there in the parking lot. The quality is great and I am really pleased with them.

My wife gets tired of hearing me RAVE over my new mirrors. Like factory mirrors. They are solid -Don't vibrate like other extensions I've used. Excellent rear and side view, whether I am pulling my fifth wheel or the 27ft boat. Only thing I would change is that I should have bought these years ago. And they were truly plug and play. Only took time to remove door panel, remove old mirror, replace mirror then panel. Piece of cake.

My mirrors are labeled CTM-1600 but the instructions make no mention of this code on the models listed on the instruction sheet. I think a notation of which codes match which models would be helpful to future customers. Other than that, I like what I see.

great mirrors i can see much better now. they bolt right in to factory holes took me mabye ten min to put on. the only down side is the mirror comes out at a upward angle instead of being level which i think is because of the year of the truck not the product mabye make a line of mirrors special to that year but other then that great mirror

I bought the K Source Extendable towing mirrors one year ago, for a 1999 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado. They work very well. They are a huge improvement over the stock mirrors, especially when towing a 8' wide camper. They were easy to put on, probably took an hour or two. No complaints.

I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 and the CIPA towing mirrors fit perfectly. I took my time putting them on as suggest by over Product Reviews, and did not have a problem.

My 3rd set (different trucks). Always a good fit. Wish the mirror moved a bit easier tho. Will order again.

The installation was easy on my 2009 Chevy Silverado. Make sure you connect to the "Black" plug connection on the truck. The mirrors work very well. I especially like the integral lower wide-angle blind spot mirrors. I tested them at 70+ miles per hour and there was very little perceptible vibration. I can't wait to try them out with the trailer

Works as advertised. Installs easily - plan on giving yourself an hour and a half. Directions could be slightly less vague. You'll need a small socket set with an extension and a flat head screwdriver, or the appropriate auto tool to help take off the door panels.

I bought both sides for my 2011 silverado and they look really good they look like they are factory mirrors install very quickly about 1 minute a side and they still allow the mirror to fold in if need be and they don't hit the side of the truck when folded in they fit my needs just fine the only complaint I have is the mirror itself could be bigger its about 1/3 the size of my factory mirror you have a decent blind spot when using them you just have to check yourself and its not a problem other than that they fit my needs well and come on and off quickly so they work really well if you don't tow 247 but it you tow very often like for a living I would recommend the full replacement ones cause they have less blindspot but if you tow every now and then they will suit your needs just fine I would recommend this product it you tow every now and then

Service and product review. Everything began with the virtual storefront providing a comprehensive review of the product and a competitive price. I could not find a brick and mortar dealer for this product in my area with such a minimal lead time. $450 for a set of OEM tow mirrors was not in the budget I purchased two towing mirrors for my 1500 Silverado. One was out of stock in the warehouse, but a customer service rep called me to tell me it would still ship and arrive the same day, just not in the same package from etrailer. The mirrors are exactly what I needed. Good visibilty and solid fit. Stock mirrors will fold with these mirrors on with no interference. It takes less than 5 minutes to install on your vehicle. If I were to change anything, it would be to make the wedge that locks the mirror on, a permanent part of the unit. Then you would not have any pieces that could get lost when storing the mirrors. I still can't believe how fast these were shipped. The packaging was great. Thank you Etrailer, keep up the good work and please don't change.

Mirrors were easily installed after we received all the parts. We called the customer service and explained what was missing in our order. The service employee was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The missing part was quickly expedited to us. The mirrors have proven to be an asset when pulling either our travel trailer or utility trailer. Great value for the price.

Fit my Silverado perfectly, and will be of great assistance when pulling my new travel trailer. Only a couple minutes to install, very simple. I just took a 100 mile ride, and they did not shake loose or move. Exactly what I was looking for.

The only set of towing mirrors that fit my 2014 Silverado 1500. Very easy to set up and adjust. Haven't towed with them yet, but I'm sure they will work out well. Customer service from ETrailer was really superior. No hesitation in ordering from them in the future.

I installed these ksource mirrors on my 2006 Chevy Silverado and as advertised the installation was an exact fit. It took approximately 30 minutes per side to install. The mirrors were an exact fit and the wiring was an exact match. I recommend these mirrors for anyone pulling any type RV needing full side views and beyond on either side of the towing unit. Looked around at several mirrors from different vendors. Decided that these looked the best. The package was delivered promptly just a couple days after I placed the order online. These mirrors were a perfect replacement for my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic Extended Cab. The installation was a breeze. The included instructions went step by step. The heat and electric cables plugged right in where the old mirrors were. It even came with the clips already on the cables to clip to the door. They will be very helpful when towing our camper. There is no vibration when going down the road. He bottom convex mirrors really help with blind spots. I wish I had done this earlier.

Exceeded expectations as a add on to the factory mirrors for both a Chevy Silverado truck and a Ford F150. It appears the extension is a perfect match and functional solution for trailer towing without the expenditure of new mirrors. Etrailer was not only the greatest value for this product from any internet site or regional store supply, but they also beat their date of delivery by six days on a UPS business delivery. Great service

Love these mirrors! Have had them on the truck now for a year and they work perfect and give you a lot more visibility than the standard short factory mirrors. No need for aftermarket extensions with these. Plus they slide out if you need even more visibility but we never had to use that alternative yet cause they work great just the way they are. We tow a tandem axel 7x14 cargo trailer and have plenty of visibility to see backing up and nicely down each side while driving. Much safer in heavy traffic. Installation was very simple and the mirrors bolted right on with exacting fit. I would totally recommend these if your needing better visibility over the small OEM mirrors for towing or just daily driving.

everything was great, and easy to install and delivered quickly

We have used our mirrors to pull our 27 foot camper. They worked excellent. Just need to know if we can order replacement straps when needed.

Yes I did receive the tow mirrors, but it's been to cold here in Wisconsin for me to do the install. I'm hoping for a break in the weather so I can try them on soon. I can say this they look great, just hoping for a good fit on my 2018 Silverado.

the mirrors and floor jack stand worked perfectly

The product appears to be very good but it will not fit on my 2019 Silverado. The trim around the front of the mirror will not let the clamp go far enough to tighten up on the mirror. I love the design and hopefully they can design it a little different to enable it to work on all mirrors. Thank you.

Bought a universal bar towing mirror kit. Works great, adjustable length, attached to my Silverado truck. It extends out much farther than those that hang on with the stretch bands. I can see well outside the lines of my travel trailer. They were shipped quickly, had them in 3 days after ordering them. Good product, thanks!
