2008 Chevrolet SilveradoThese mirrors fit very tightly, making them a little difficult to put on in cold weather, but also minimizing vibration. Most of my use is on washboard gravel roads, and these have been great! One of the locking tabs broke when I was either installing or removing them, but the other tab still holds it tightly enough to keep the vibrations at bay.

Took longer to take the mirrors out of the cartons than it did to install them on my pickup. Great item. The boat guides for the trailer were extremely easy to install. About an hour or less time and a deep 9/16 socket. The pic pipe are only 31in long. I purchased a 10' 2" pic pipe at Home Depot for about 10 dolLars and cut two 50" pieces. Work great. Would recommend both items to a friend.
Just received them, put them on the truck, went on easily. It looks like they will work. I'm towing a short trailer with a Kayak on it, it was hard to back up without seeing where the trailer was going. So far it looks great.

2004 Chevrolet SilveradoMy wife gets tired of hearing me RAVE over my new mirrors. Like factory mirrors. They are solid -Don't vibrate like other extensions I've used. Excellent rear and side view, whether I am pulling my fifth wheel or the 27ft boat. Only thing I would change is that I should have bought these years ago. And they were truly plug and play. Only took time to remove door panel, remove old mirror, replace mirror then panel. Piece of cake.

great mirrors i can see much better now. they bolt right in to factory holes took me mabye ten min to put on. the only down side is the mirror comes out at a upward angle instead of being level which i think is because of the year of the truck not the product mabye make a line of mirrors special to that year but other then that great mirror
1999 Chevrolet SilveradoI bought the K Source Extendable towing mirrors one year ago, for a 1999 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado. They work very well. They are a huge improvement over the stock mirrors, especially when towing a 8' wide camper. They were easy to put on, probably took an hour or two. No complaints.

I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 and the CIPA towing mirrors fit perfectly. I took my time putting them on as suggest by over Product Reviews, and did not have a problem.
My 3rd set (different trucks). Always a good fit. Wish the mirror moved a bit easier tho. Will order again.

I received the mirrors just before the weekend. Put them on the truck, hooked up the camper and took off for the weekend. They worked well.
I bought both sides for my 2011 silverado and they look really good they look like they are factory mirrors install very quickly about 1 minute a side and they still allow the mirror to fold in if need be and they don't hit the side of the truck when folded in they fit my needs just fine the only complaint I have is the mirror itself could be bigger its about 1/3 the size of my factory mirror you have a decent blind spot when using them you just have to check yourself and its not a problem other than that they fit my needs well and come on and off quickly so they work really well if you don't tow 247 but it you tow very often like for a living I would recommend the full replacement ones cause they have less blindspot but if you tow every now and then they will suit your needs just fine I would recommend this product it you tow every now and then

Looked around at several mirrors from different vendors. Decided that these looked the best. The package was delivered promptly just a couple days after I placed the order online. These mirrors were a perfect replacement for my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic Extended Cab. The installation was a breeze. The included instructions went step by step. The heat and electric cables plugged right in where the old mirrors were. It even came with the clips already on the cables to clip to the door. They will be very helpful when towing our camper. There is no vibration when going down the road. He bottom convex mirrors really help with blind spots. I wish I had done this earlier.

It appears the extension is a perfect match and functional solution for trailer towing without the expenditure of new mirrors. 2006 Chevrolet SilveradoLove these mirrors! Have had them on the truck now for a year and they work perfect and give you a lot more visibility than the standard short factory mirrors. No need for aftermarket extensions with these. Plus they slide out if you need even more visibility but we never had to use that alternative yet cause they work great just the way they are. We tow a tandem axel 7x14 cargo trailer and have plenty of visibility to see backing up and nicely down each side while driving. Much safer in heavy traffic. Installation was very simple and the mirrors bolted right on with exacting fit. I would totally recommend these if your needing better visibility over the small OEM mirrors for towing or just daily driving.

The product appears to be very good but it will not fit on my 2019 Silverado. The trim around the front of the mirror will not let the clamp go far enough to tighten up on the mirror. I love the design and hopefully they can design it a little different to enable it to work on all mirrors. Thank you.
Bought a universal bar towing mirror kit. Works great, adjustable length, attached to my Silverado truck. It extends out much farther than those that hang on with the stretch bands. Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, and that's going to include the driver and passenger side, part number CM10900. Now if you only need the driver side you can use part number 10901. If you only need the passenger side you can use part number 10902. So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but you lose track of me if I step to the side. Now that's where our towing mirrors are going to come into play. Whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, back our trailer up, or even pull up to the camp ground this is going to give us an accurate, more safe view of what's next to us. So here's what our towing mirror looks like when it's fully installed.
K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado
Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be doing a test fit on the K Source Universal clip-on towing mirror. That's part number KS3891. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even back up while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. But take a few steps in towards my trailer, you can see that there was no blind spot. This is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most angles.
