Minimize sway and driver fatigue by improving the stability and driveability of your Ford F-250 Super Duty. The bar on this sturdy, effective anti-sway system mounts to the front axle and to the frame to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll.

Specs:
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion. You will notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll. The anti-sway bar acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its front axle, using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. Lubricated bushings allow just enough pivot and rotation to compensate for the pressure placed on one side of your vehicle when it goes into sudden maneuvers, hits crosswinds or encounters shifting weights.
Superior Construction
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar is made of 4140 chromoly, a chromium and molybdenum steel alloy. This type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications. In addition, the larger diameter of the bar increases its torsional roll stiffness. The result is a bar that is not only stronger than the competition, but also nearly 30 percent better at resisting sway. The polyurethane bushings and grommets used at the attachment points are durable yet flexible, ensuring that the system is neither so rigid nor so malleable that it becomes ineffective.

Today we're going to take a look at the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar for trucks. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2011 and newer, Ford F250 and F350 trucks. On any custom fit part, I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work on your application. This sway bar will minimize side-to-side movement to improve overall stability of your vehicle, lets you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence, allows for a nice, level ride, even on irregular surfaces, and it'll help reduce driver fatigue, which will minimize the effort required to keep your truck in line. This will diminish the effects of crosswinds, passing motorists, and shifting cargo. It is designed to fit your vehicle and work in conjunction with its suspension system.
This bar does attach to your front axle and to the chassis. It does use the weight of the axle to brace the frame as it shifts and turns. It is engineered to avoid interference with most popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories. The bushings right here, they are made of a polyurethane instead of your standard rubber variety, for a lot longer-lasting system. Polyurethane's very durable and resistant to damage that can be caused by oil, gas, and ozone, and, of course, less wear will mean less give in your system and better support. The sway bar itself is constructed of a thick cadmium-plated 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength.
This part will include everything shown here on the table. It includes the anti-sway bar, the polyurethane bushings with the clamps, the bushing lubricant, the mounting hardware, and a nice set of easy-to-follow instructions. These parts are made in the USA, and one last thing is, the diameter of this sway bar is 1 1/2" in diameter. That should do it for the review on the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar for trucks.

Minimize sway and driver fatigue by improving the stability and driveability of your vehicle. The bar on this sturdy, effective anti-sway system mounts to the front axle and to the frame to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll.I purchased this sway bar for my F350 to replace factory bar to reduce sway while hauling my very heavy (~5000 lb) truck camper. The bar fit perfectly, was easy to install, and has performed beautifully. Shortly after installation, I took the truck/camper on an 8000+ mile cross country trip and this sway bar performed great! Excellect product; much better than factory sway bar.
What a difference! I haul a heavy truck camper and this made a world of difference when cornering. Very happy with the quality and performance of this product. As always, etrailer shipped the item quickly!
Used it on my 2017 F350 even though RM didn't include it in their listing. It bolted on easily, and I can detect no clearance issues steering lock to lock. Nice improvement over the OEM with the camper loaded, and thicker than the Helwig.
Excellent product which greatly improved control while loaded with the pickup camper and made right here in the great northwest! I was able to support two American small businesses in the same purchase!
Have not had time to install but looks to be very good quality
Review from a similar Sway Bar with Bushing Kit in Anti-Sway Bars
This product arrived on time, and is as described in company literature. I have installed the sway bars and the sumo springs on my 2019 Ford E3 26 foot Thor motorhome. Installation is fairly straightforward. Having said that, I am a retired farmer and I am quite familiar with this type of work. Having the proper tools makes the job go much quicker and easier. Installation of the front sway bar took a little under an hour. The rear sway bar is a bit more complicated to install, but he can be easily accomplished by someone of average mechanical skills, equipped with the proper tools. I strongly recommend removing the rear wheels to facilitate installation of the springs and the sway bar. I have not driven my motorhome yet, but will be taking an extended trip in March. I am looking forward to an improved ride.

--Etralier & Roadmaster Anti-Sway-Bar Review--
I do not do product reviews--but am doing so here simply to express the AWESOME Customer Service, Articles, & Products at etrailer.com!
I have an old 1988 7.3 IDI (N/A Diesel) E350 transporter van (extended length with hightop) that I have spent a decade working on and just opted for front and rear Roadmaster anti-sway-bars.
I am so grateful I ordered them from etrailer! etrailer made the purchase process INCREDIBLE & the anti-sway-bars installed easily in an evening.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Via a private browser I inadvertently placed my order & received an error.
Hitting the "Live Chat" & within moments August from etrailer.com had answered saying my order was not in the system & it was safe to redo the order (which I did in a regular browser).
Just hours after placing the order (7 PM Pacific Time) I realized there was a third Roadmaster option (1 5/8" thick rear anti-sway-bar) I did not notice (see below for details of Roadmaster fit for the 1975-1991 Ford van, as I have worked out).
I again hit "Live Chat", at 7 PM!, & Matthew from etrailer within moments talked with a tech and confirmed I had (thankfully) ordered the correct part.
The next morning I awoke to an email from George at etrailer.com saying my order had been shipped and would arrive on Tuesday (~5 days across the U.S.).
The tracking link showed a map tracking the order as well who processed the order at etrailer.com (George), who gathered the order at etrailer.com (Cody), and who packaged (shipped) the order at etrailer.com (Michael)--with pics of the person.
The order arrived well packaged--from the factory I think--with only 2 cosmetic punctures (see pics if concerned--but for heavy (~36 lbs each) & awkward items across the U.S.--no complaints here).
Upon arrival, I received (what I assume is automated--but still) an email from Carol to follow up on the order.
Incredible!

Since then I have scanned some of etrailer.com's articles & they seem honest & insight-fully written (like the article discussing the cost/benefit, return on investment, of solar power*).

There are also rather specialty products on etrailer I have wondered about but for lack of time have never researched (nor stumbled upon elsewhere). For example Kat's Heater Ether Start Fluid Injection System.**
Plus, from what I have gathered, they have product experts on-hand, with their names & pictures.

ROADMASTER ANTI-SWAY-BAR FIT
(for the 1975 - 1991 Ford Econoline van):
For fit, what I've worked out using the Roadmaster Fitmaster website*** is there are 5 variants for the 1975-1991 REAR anti-sway-bar & one item for the front (but do double check me!):
Part #1139-108 with a 1 3/8" anti-sway-bar: not for diesel
Part #1139-117 with a 1 1/2" anti-sway-bar: recommended for diesel E350 (what I contacted customer support over)
Part #1139-119 / RM83ZR with a 1 5/8" anti-sway-bar
Part #1139-108 with 1 3/8" anti-sway-bar: FOR auto-chain vehicles.
Part #1139-198 with a 1 1/2" anti-sway-bar: FOR auto-chain vehicle.
Part #1139-100 is 1 3/8" & is the only anti-sway-bar for the FRONT (I understand).
Unfortunately I have yet to test drive as I must tie several things down first & wanted to get this review out ASAP. But all reviews I have read say these anti-sway-bars are night and day difference.
SUMMARY:
In sum, there in no other company in the U.S, I have ordered from in over a decade that has done such a STELLAR job as etrader.com.
(And fixing/modernizing a 30 year old diesel van has required me ordering MASSIVE parts).
If etrailer is not one of the best companies in America, I do not know who is.
Order from etrailer with complete confidence.
THANK YOU so much etrailer!
Keep up the INCOMPREHENSIBLE job!
May you all be blessed,

Good product and well-made aftermarket equipment. Good improvement in overall roll and sway. Easy to follow instructions made installation much easier than expected.
Highly recommend

The Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar is of excellent quality. All of the parts are heavy duty and fit exactly the way they should. I have a 2003 Fleetwood on a Workhorse W22 chassis and considering the age all of the factory bolts and nuts came off without any issues. Installation was easy following the printed instructions and the online video. I really recommend this product.

Very nice High Quality Anti-Sway Bar!
I picked up the end links and fabricated the frame mounts for the end links.
Turned out great and made a very significant improvement in the ride and stability.
Review from a similar Sway Bar with Bushing Kit in Anti-Sway Bars
Lousy because my sway bar is sitting on the floor in the corner of my basement. I ordered the bushing kit and it arrived without the metal straps that secure the bushings to the vehicle. After I contacted your company I was told I had to contact the chevy dealer, who of course, have nothing that fits. Their sway bar is nowhere near the diameter of the one i purchased. I've spent the last year searching swap meets for the items I need. Your product looks like it would be nice, but as it is, it's terrible. It's terrible, your company is terrible and it is highly doubtful I would recommend you to anyone.

Very straightforward installation and all the parts were of high quality. This is a substantial, solid sway bar. My RV feels a lot more solid on the road in curves etc. Very satisfied with the product.
Review from a similar Sway Bar with Bushing Kit in Anti-Sway Bars
First of all, shopping at etrailer has been a great experience. The products they have available are top notch, the fitment guidelines are very very helpful, and their customer service is the best. As for my Roadmaster anti-sway bar, it is an improvement. I don't have as much body sway when passing semi's, and the speed when going around curve's, has increased by 5mph. I like what the sway bar has added to my motorhome.
Review from a similar Sway Bar with Bushing Kit in Anti-Sway Bars
I purchased the rear anti sway bar and end link kit because my 2017 Ford F350 single SRW did not come with a rear sway bar from the factory. The sway bar came with instructions and fits the truck well. The end link kit did not come with instructions, so I had to find an existing hole in each side of the frame to mount them to. Although there is a larger hole in the frame above the hole that I was mounting the end links through, there is not enough room to put a wrench on the nut inside the frame. So I welded the nut to a 1"x2"x3/16" steel plate. Then I was able to slip the nut/plate assembly into the frame and tighten the bolt. Additionally, there are no bolt torque specs, so I torqued the 1/2" bolts to 80 ft-lbs, and the 3/8" bolts to 60 ft-lbs. I have to hope that is sufficient. Of course, I shouldn't have to hope. That information should be included in instructions, and the nut/steel plate assemblies (or some other option) should be included in the end link kit. Although the finished product appears to be good quality, I gave it 3 stars due to the incomplete end link kit.

I installed the front and rear Anti-sway bars with the steering shock.
I am 100% satisfied with the outcome and handling of my RV while driving down the road.
I would highly recommend the installation of these items on any RV

The sway bar assemble was very easy to assemble. The directions were clear and all the parts were included. I would rate this as a critically needed addition if you plan to carry a camper in the bed of your pickup.

OH My! If you are thinking about getting one for your P32 wide body. Please don’t hesitate. It REALLY Works. Take the white knuckle effect out of driving. EASY installation! Easy Ordering from etrailer. Roger helped me get through the buying process and shipped to my house in 2 days! Thank You!!

Was an fairly easy install with two people , has held up well so far . Helped stop sway with my top heavy truck camper load. At the time it was the only sway bar that fit the ram 3500 with 6.4 gas hemi due to exhaust system interference with other brands .
Review from a similar Sway Bar with Bushing Kit in Anti-Sway Bars
I have a 2017 Ford F350 Super Duty SRW, and we haul a heavy truck camper (Lance 1055.) I have Stable Load Uppers and HD airbags, but wanted to add a sway bar to add that extra layer of control, even though my truck has handled the camper well over the last 2 years and 10,000 miles. My truck did not come with an OEM sway bar installed, so I needed this kit that included the End Links too.
The Roadmaster Rear Sway Bar and End Links sold on etrailer are top quality products. They are robust and well made, with quality hardware to match. The product deserves a 5-star, and even unloaded, my truck handling improved right after installation, with improved cornering and no real impact on ride quality in my opinion. I have not yet loaded up our camper or towed our boat, but I have no doubt this sway bar will substantially reduce sway and will improve control and handling when the camper is loaded.
So why 4 stars and not 5?
1. I researched this product and the installation in detail. I planned on installing it myself and expected to find plenty of detail on etrailer's site, or Roadmaster's site, or the internet. My most pressing question was about where to mount the end links, and the orientation of the sway bar arms since I wouldn't be using the OEM end links. That information was no where to be found on the etrailer site, Roadmaster's site, or in any installation manuals. For a product and supplier that has likely sold lots of these to Ford Super Duty owners, I was surprised to find how little info was out there. The installation video on the etrailer site was helpful, but did not include any information for the end links, as they had a 2015 Super Duty and used the OEM end links already installed. I contacted etrailer and they told me to contact Roadmaster for more info on where to locate the end links with this kit.
2. I contacted Roadmaster. They told me they had no instructions and that despite my truck already having the cut-outs for the OEM bracket that attaches the OEM end links to the frame, that none of those holes may work for me. So they suggested I connect the sway bar brackets to the axle first and then see where the arms would line up with the end links. The tech also suggested that it wasn't critical that the end links were perpendicular
to the frame, but that I should try install the end links to allow the arm of the sway bar to hand as close to parallel as possible. No bueno. When I installed this the 14" end links (center hole to center hole) didn't allow for the arms to hang parallel to the frame. And I don't think it matters as the orientation of my sway bar and the arms looks about like every video or picture I could find on the internet of this year/model truck and this sway bar kit. It seems to function fine.
3. Installing it was a bear, especially the way they instructed me to. And I had to make some modifications to fit my truck, as the sway bar arms were rubbing up against my airbag mounting brackets. I got it installed, but the thin instructions turned what should have been a 60 minute job into 2 1/2 hours. A bit frustrating.
All in all, this will do the job intended and will provide me with peace of mind next time we load our camper. I am a bit frustrated that there were zero installation instructions specific to my year/make/model of truck given it did not have an OEM sway bar and the end links had to be installed with a bit of guesswork. You will also note in my pictures that I had to mount the end links to the sway bar arms differently on each side to make the bar fit around my air bag mounts.

This sway bar is the real deal. Easy to follow instructions but I had it installed because I'm lazy. It took one hour labor
Review from a similar Sway Bar with Bushing Kit in Anti-Sway Bars
The install was very easy. Followed the steps in the video and except for needing an 18mm wrench not a 17mm.
The difference in handling is very noticeable as the wife comment on it as we took a test right after installing it, the wind was 20 to gusts of 30 mph.
In a direct crosswind a lot less steering input required and when meeting vehicles no noticeable push anymore. We only went 25 miles so will do a longer test another day.
The fit was exceptional and fairly easy to install.
Review from a similar Sway Bar with Bushing Kit in Anti-Sway Bars
The sway sway bar arrived two days early. We had liquid springs added to our rv last fall and it helped with compfort but not handling or steering. Just returned from a 1300 mile trip over mountains and the flats with rain and wind. Remarkeble performance, what an improvement. Now I feel I have the control I need to feel confident in handling this baby in most conditions you might normally encounter on a long road trip. Wish I hadnt waited so long. Thank you.
