Hey James! The tallest skylight we have is the Specialty Recreation Replacement RV Skylight w/ Inner Garnish item # SR66MR. It's designed to replace an existing skylight but it will work to add a new one as well. It fits a 14" x 22" cutout and will give you an additional 6" of height.

To replace a skylight, you will follow the same installation as you would for a standard RV vent like # V2092SP-28. We do not have any skylight replacements available, but you will install a replacement using the Roof Vent Installation Kit - Sealant, Butyl Tape, Screws - White # 344270KITW. Screws and sealant will hold the skylight in place and make it weather tight. view full answer...
Hey Michael,
You do not want to use self-leveling sealant with the Specialty Recreation Universal Replacement RV Skylight - 14" Wide x 22" Long - Smoke # SR67RR because it is made from polycarbonate, which doesn't mesh well with that type of sealant and can cause crack. The skylight does come with its own sealant, which you'll want to use when installing it. view full answer...
The Adco Deluxe Solar Vent Cover - White Over Silver # 290-7172 is the 18x18 inch that is intended to fit standard 14x14 RV vents. Unfortunately we don't have anything specifically designed to fit the larger skylight.
We also have the Camco Sunshield Shade for RV Roof Vents # CAM45191 which is 16 x 16 inches. You may need to use two of these shades side by side to get the coverage you need on the larger skylight. view full answer...
Hello Joanne, thanks for reaching out. We do offer skylights that may fit your 2009 Jayco eagle, but skylights are not custom fitted, so there is no way to accurately recommend one based on just the year, make and model of trailer. If you are looking to replace the current skylight, just let me know the size of the skylight, and the color of the cover.
For example, a very common option is the Specialty Recreation Universal Replacement RV Skylight # SR67RR. This is black in color and it... view full answer...
Hi Mike,
I'm sure we can get your Thor motorhome a replacement skylight, though we don't have any way of knowing specifically what skylight is needed. All you have to do is measure your cutout, and get one that fits over that. For example, if you have a 14" x 22" cutout, which is pretty standard, you could use the Specialty Recreation Universal Replacement RV Skylight - 14" Wide x 22" Long - Clear # SR77RR.
I have added a link below which has our entire selection of skylights, which you... view full answer...
We do have some options to check out although we do not carry a shade cover made specifically for a bathroom skylight.
The Camco Lights Out Retractable Shade # CAM42913 may work if you have a skylight with dimensions similar to the shade's 19" long x 14-1/8" wide. It will install under the skylight and simply screws in.
Another option to check out is the Adco Deluxe Solar Vent Cover # 290-7172 which is 18" x 18" and the Camco Sunshield Shade # CAM45191 which is 16" long x 16" wide. These... view full answer...
Hey Terry, what size skylight do you need? We have a few options but I would need to know the dimensions of what you need as we don't have a way to look that up based on your RV. The part # SR37RR that you referenced is 20 inch by 8 inch and is angled. view full answer...
Hello Paul. The Specialty Recreation Universal Replacement RV Skylight # SR87RR is designed to fit over a standard 14" wide x 22" long cutout. The overall dimensions are 18" wide x 26" long but the inside of the skylight is 14" x 22" so it sounds like this will work for you. view full answer...
Hey Ryan, to install a skylight like the Specialty Recreation Low Profile Skylight w/ Inner Garnish and Sealant # SR56RR that you referenced what you would need to do is cut a 14 x 22 inch hole in your roof/ceiling and as long as the thickness of the roof is at least 1-1/2 inches this would work for you. view full answer...
Hi Chad; I'm sorry to hear you have to replace your skylight. What happened? The good news is we do have a replacement available. The Specialty Recreation Universal Replacement RV Skylight # SR77RR is designed to fit a standard 14" wide x 22" long cutout like the one you measured. This also comes with sealant for installation. If you need to replace the inner garnish along with the skylight the # SR56RR is also available. view full answer...
Hey Ronald, it looks like the closest skylight we have to what you're looking for is the Specialty Recreation Universal Replacement RV Skylight # SR49RR.
This is smoke colored, measured 21 1/2" wide x 33 1/2" long, has a bubble height of 5", and has a 18" wide x 30" long cutout. view full answer...
Hi John,
The Specialty Recreation Universal Replacement RV Skylight # SR89RR itself measures 25-1/2" wide x 37-3/4" long, so if you were measuring your skylight it would be larger. But regarding fit, it will fit over a 22" wide x 34" long cutout, so if you were referring to the 22" x 36" as the cutout, then it wouldn't fit, and we wouldn't have one that does as these are the largest we offer. view full answer...
The Camco Lights Out Retractable Shade, part # CAM42913, can be used anywhere you want. However, it only measures 14-1/8 by 19 inches so it isn't going to cover your entire skylight.
Although, you could use 3 of them to cover it. view full answer...
The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner part # ACM150C installs into a 14-1/4" long x 14-1/4" wide roof opening. If you remove the skylight and the opening is smaller than 14-1/4" long x 14-1/4" you can carefully cut the opening to make it larger, however it is recommended to install the unit slightly forward of the center of the center of the roof and centered from side to side. I have attached diagrams from the installation instructions for your reference. view full answer...
Hi Janice; the Specialty Recreation Universal Inner Garnish for RV Skylight # SR57RR will fit if you have a standard 14" wide x 22" long cutout. We have no way of knowing exactly what is in your Lance TT so you will need to measure to confirm fitment. view full answer...
Hey Richard, we do have what you are looking for with the Dometic FanTastic roof vent cover part # DMC38FR for black or part # FVU1500WH for white.
With these installed you can have your roof vent open and you won't have to worry about rain getting in and it would protect a little more in case you encounter hail as well. view full answer...

Having firsthand experience with removing old sealant I can tell you without a doubt that it's a giant pain. You'll want to pick up some composite trim tools # PT73HJ to pry the sealant off of the roof membrane. You'll take the flat end of one of the tools and scrape towards the skylight being careful not to pull on the roof membrane and tear it. This will take a bunch of time and patience.
I typically press up against the sealant and try to rock the tool side to side to help cut through... view full answer...
The Camco Lights Out Retractable Shade for RV Roof Vents # CAM42913 fully extended is 19" long x 14-1/8"wide. We don't currently carry a shade that is longer or wider. You would need to add trim to the inside of your skylight to make this product work and that is my recommendation since you will still have plenty of natural light when desired and the ability to have shade when desired.
There isn't a product directly compatible from any of our manufacturers so this is a work around option. view full answer...
