  • On and Off Road Tire Chains for LT295/65R20 Tires
  • I did some checking and for 295/65-20 tires you can use sizes 3231 or 3831. For the 3231 size I recommend # TC3231SHD which can be used for both on-road and off-road applications. For the 3831 size I recommend # TC3831 which also can be used for both on-road and off-road applications. There are a lot of tire sizes in between the compatible sizes listed for these tire chains that just don't show up. But resources have indicated that these 2 sizes will work with your tires.

  • LED Trailer Hitch Cover Sending Turn Signal Light Bulb Is Out Message On 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat
  • On your 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat, the problem you are referencing with your Brake and Tail Light L.E.D. Trailer Hitch Cover # CR-017F is only seen on certain vehicles. We normally see this issue with German vehicles when they try to tow a trailer with LED lights. The issue is that the lower amperage draw of the LED lights is just enough to confuse the vehicle that it is drawing too much and because of that it wants to tell you that you have a bulb out on your vehicle, then with no amperage...

  • Trailer Error Message with Hitch Light on a 2018 Ford Escape
  • I do not believe that there is an issue with your 2018 Ford Escape or there is an issue with the Oval LED Brake Light Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover part # CR-017. Unfortunately, the electrical systems in newers cars today are very complex and they do not like when aftermarket accessories are used. The issue you are having is that the vehicle thinks there is a trailer attached when you have the hitch light plugged in. The power draw from the hitch light is not comparable to that of a trailer...

  • Solution for Turn Signal Error Message on 2017 F-150 When Using Lighted Hitch Cover
  • The only way to use your Pilot Skull Lighted Hitch Cover # CR-018 with your 2017 Ford F-150 without getting the turn signal error message would be to hardwire in a new 4-Way connector like # HM48030 to use with the cover. This will allow you to bypass the trailer tail light sensors on the truck so that the error message doesn't come up. I realize this sounds like silly workaround since you already have a working 4-Way but it is unfortunately the only option that would prevent that error...

  • Will Harley-Davidson Hitch Covers # HDHC14 and # HDHC25 Resist Corrosion from Winter Road Salt
  • Both the of Baron & Baron Harley-Davidson hitch covers you referenced, part # HDHC14 & # HDHC25, share common construction features including chrome-plated-brass emblems, stainless-steel mounting posts and included locking bolts to secure them to your hitch. Chrome and stainless are both naturally resistant to corrosion, to a point of course, but these items do not carry a formal salt spray rating like some trailer components do. • The State of Texas Hitch Cover you mentioned, part # AMGSTTXC would be secured in the receiver using a standard hitch pin and retaining clip like # PC3 or a locking hitch pin like # e98882. Although some of the hitch covers we offer use the wire arrangement you describe, this particular cover uses a piece of square tubing attached to the rear of the cover as shown in the photo I provided. This 4-pole wiring harness, such as # 118526 and # C56251, will pass a very small amount of power even without any vehicle lighting functions activated.
