There is not a longer ramp available than the 39-3/8 inch long ramp that comes with the etrailer Motorcycle Carrier with Ramp for 2" Hitch # e98873.
This carrier has a 500 lb capacity so it will easily be able to haul your 300 lb V-Star, and if you do go with it you do have the option of adding a lock with the Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock # e99047.

What you'd want is the ShockStrap Soft Ties for Motorcycles and Dirt Bikes # 297-2STB-2 as this will allow you to loop around the handlebars and the clip will be able to close. Typically if the bike is secured proplerly the spring clips really aren't needed.
