The Curt ATV Towing Starter Kit # C45038 may fit your 2018 Honda FourTrax Rancher though it is not designed as a specific fit for ATVs.
Does your Rancher ATV have a tongue like in the accompanying photo? If so it will simply bolt onto that tongue, which is what would be required for this to fit on your Honda. I took a look at a bunch of photos of this ATV and was unable to determine if it has the tongue but a quick glance at the rear of your ATV and you should be able to tell pretty... view full answer...
What keeps the Reese Towpower 3-Way ATV Hitch # RP7065000 from turning is torquing down the install bolt which prevents it from being able to swivel. This will prevent it from swiveling when backing up as well. I attached a review video for this hitch for you to check with more info as well. view full answer...
The Reese Towpower 3-Way ATV Hitch w/ Ball Mount Adapter part # RP7065100 should fit a 2013 Honda Rancher TRX so long as it has a 5/8" diameter hitch ball hole. The Reese Towpower 3-Way ATV Hitch will work to extend the connection point for towing so you don't hit your tires. The hitch mount adapter comes with a serrated washer and lock nut to hold it in place and stop it from pivoting with the trailer but there won't be much side to side force on the adapter to cause this anyhow.

The Reese Towpower ATV Hitch, part # RP7065000, measures 3/8 of an inch thick except for the D-ring. The D-ring is a 1/2 inch thick.
The hitch can be used in the dop position. I went out and looked at it and there's plenty of room for a hitch ball to not interfere with the D-ring. view full answer...
A hitch ball will give you better control for backing up your travel trailer with your ATV. I recommend the Curt Ball Mount for 2" ATV Hitches - 2" Ball and Clevis Bar - 1/4" Rise # C45009. This will give you the clevis as well as a 2 inch ball for your application. If you need the entire system, I recommend the Curt ATV Towing Starter Kit - 2" Receiver - 6" Long Ball Mount - 2" Hitch Ball # C45038. view full answer...
There is a 3/4 inch ball hole in ATV hitch # RP7065100. The shank of the 2 inch ball will need to be 3/4 inches to fit. If you need a 2 inch ball with a 3/4 inch diameter shank you can use # 19258. The hitch itself mounts to a 5/8 inch diameter tongue hole. If that is what the tractor has now then this set up will work. view full answer...

The Reese Towpower # RP7065000 can be used in the drop position. However, when in the drop position, the tow hook will interfere with the mount location for the hitch ball. The only ideal use of the Towpower in the drop position is for the clevis pin.
In order to access the hitch ball when # RP7065000 is in the dropped position, the tow hook would need to be cut off. This would void the warranty on the product.
If you do decide to use the Towpower in the drop position, it offers... view full answer...

What I recommend is going with the Curt 2 bike bolt-on rack # C18011 because it will mount to any ball mount or step bumper and can hold 2 bikes with a maximum weight of 70 pounds.
Unfortunately the Curt ATV ball mount adapter # C45006 you referenced will not work because it will bend.
If you end up going with a trailer hitch, I recommend the Class-III Draw-Tite # 75038 because it has a 500 pound tongue weight capacity and it's... view full answer...
The Curt ATV Ball Mount # C45009 does not have a specific towing weight rating, nor a class rating, because its capacity will exceed that of virtually any ATV and ATV hitch. The Polaris Rangers vary in their towing capacity depending on the specific model. The XP900 is indeed rated for 2000-lbs, but the model 570 is rated for 1500-lbs and the XP1000 is rated for 2500-lbs. This ball mount is fine for use with any of these since it will have a higher capacity than the hitch and the ATV itself. view full answer...
If you're staying within the 2,000 lb capacity of the Reese Towpower 3-Way ATV Hitch w/ Ball Mount Adapter # RP7065100 and the bolt is coming loose then I recommend using some threadlocker like part # LT37643 to help keep everything in place. The blue threadlocker isn't as strong as the red threadlocker so you'll be able to remove this system from you ATV if you ever need to. view full answer...
What you could do is install the Curt ATV hitch part # C45006 on your ATV and then use a ball mount with a 4 inch rise like the part # C45070 and then for a 2 inch ball part # 63845. Finally for a hitch pin part # C21500. view full answer...
The capacity of the Curt Ball Mount for 2" ATV Hitches # C45005 is the same as the capacity of any ATV hitch it would be used in. It does not have a stated capacity beyond that but basically your ATV hitch would fail before it would. It is a hollow shank too.
The length is 6 inches from the pin hole to the center of the hitch ball and 7-1/2 inches from the center of the pin hole to the center of the clevis hole. view full answer...
The ATV Hitch part # RP7065100 was designed to fit a hole with a 5/8 inch diameter and wasn't really designed for your application so I wouldn't recommend attempting to use it as a first choice.
An easier solution might be a bike rack that attaches directly to the hitch ball like the Curt Clamp On part # C18013. view full answer...
I would recommend the Curt Hitch part # 13323. This is the most popular hitch we carry that is confirmed to fit the 2008 Toyota Tacoma. Even though the capacity is more than you need it would be your best option and it would give you greater flexibility for in the future if you were to want to tow a trailer. The bumper style hitches are universal and might require some modification to fit your bumper and they have much less capacity so the custom fit # 13323 would be a better choice. Yes, the Reese Towpower 3-Way ATV Hitch with Ball Mount Adapter, # RP7065100, can be used on your Polaris Sportsman ATV with a standard ball mount like the Ball Mount, # 2923.
For Ball Mount, # 2923, you will need a hitch ball with a 1 inch shank diameter, # 19260 for 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for 2 inch. view full answer...
The Curt ATV Ball Mount Adapter # C45006 that you referenced has a 2" x 2" receiver tube (as specified in the video) so it will work perfectly with your cargo carrier that has a 2" x 2" shank.
If you don't already have a hitch pin and clip you can use part # PC3, or if you want it to be a little more secure you can use the locking hitch pin # e98880. view full answer...
The Curt ATV Towing Starter Kit # C45038 receiver portion is open at the back and with the ball mount that comes with it the measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the shank is 2-1/2 inches. This is a pretty standard distance for ball mounts. I have included a picture showing where this measurement is taken. If your ball mount has the same distance or less then it will work. view full answer...
The Curt # C45009 ball mount with 2 inch ball and clevis is not a vehicle specific item. If your 2015 Can Am Max 2-Up 650 has a 2 inch receiver hitch on it, the ball mount will work great for you. view full answer...
If your MPT has a 2 inch trailer hitch opening then you might like the Convert-A-Ball multi-hitch ball mount # CAB-6W which has all 3 common ball sizes and the ability to accept a lunette ring, spade or clevis. This ball mount has you covered with all of those options.
I have also included a link to the ATV multi-functions mounts that we have. All of them fit 2 inch trailer hitch receivers. If you have a different size let me know. view full answer...
On the CURT 2 Inch Ball and Clevis Bar Ball Mount, # C45009, the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the weld where the fork is attached is approximately 3-1/2 inches. It may very between mounts because the weld may be larger or smaller between units. view full answer...
The Curt Class III Drawbar - 2" Rise - 4" Drop - 13" Long - 7,500 lbs # C45270 is a longer ball mount with a 2 inch rise that will work well. The 2" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/4" Long Shank - Chrome - 12,000 lbs # 40038 would also be a great fit.
