  • Recommended Trailer Coupler Lock for a 2-5/16
  • I want to start off by saying that any trailer lock that you purchase will never be able to fully secure your trailer from a thief. If they are determined enough to bring equipment with them to remove a lock then given enough time they will be able to remove a lock. This will be the case no matter what you what you are looking to put a lock on. With that being said, the Blaylock EZ Lock Trailer Coupler Lock # BLTL-33 that you referenced is a great lock that has received many great reviews...

  • Recommended Cargo Door Lock Keyed Alike
  • For your cargo doors, I recommend the Blaylock Door Lock for Enclosed Trailers - Aluminum - Push Button # BLDL-80 which can be keyed alike. This will have the barrel key you asked for. I've attached a video to assist. Its overall dimensions are 3" long x 6" wide x 9" tall. It will give you ability to utilize the standard 1-3/8 inch wide keeper. If you are looking for a cam style lock, then I recommend the Camco Cam Lock - 7/8" Thick # CAM44303 or the 5/8" Thick # CAM44293. If you...

  • Coupler Lock Recommendation for Trailer with 4 inch Wide Coupler
  • We have a solution that will work great but the part # BLTL-20-40D would not be what you'd need as it is designed to fit a Bulldog Collar Lok couplare and is only 3-3/16 inches wide. The # DT25013KA would instead be what I recommend as this fits all standard coupler sizes like what you have.

  • We do not have any type of database of parts lists on each year, make and model of trailer so while we cannot tell you what type of coupler you have on your 2005 Airstream there are universal applications that should work. I recommend checking out the Master Lock Trailer Coupler Lock # ML389DAT which will work on your Airstream if you have a standard lip, rolled lip, straight lip, surge brake, hammer blow or UFP couplers. • The physical difference in terms of appearance between various well-known gooseneck coupler manufacturers is hard to spot because they all are fairly similar. The best way to determine which coupler lock is needed, the Blaylock EZ Lock for Bulldog/Stallion/Superior/T.E.M. # BLTL-50 or the EZ Lock for RAM # BLTL-55, is to take a quick measurement on your coupler's flange width. As long as your fenders are taller than 6 inches off the ground there would be no way it would interfere with this.

  • It is very unlikely that using a drive-on ramp or leveler such as the Blaylock EZ Jack and Wheel Chock # EZ-JACK would cause tire damage. If the tire was far wider than the leveler, or not lined up correctly, and was allowed to remain on the leveler for a very long time (weeks or months) it might cause flat spots, but that would tend to even out as you drive. Given the substantial 17.5K weight of the trailer, lifting much of its weight by only one spindle could cause the spindle to bend....
