Normally, the tongue weight of a trailer is somewhere between 10 and 15 percent. It sounds like your trailer is at the top of that range and possibly a bit more. To calculate the right tongue weight you will need to add in any other cargo like the fresh water, food, or any cargo carried behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. You could certainly install the # W01-1573 heating cable in the manner you described. It would do a great job on the supply line, but how effective it would be on the tank will depend on the tank's capacity and size. For the humidity, since you have the moisture absorbers, I would recommend keeping your vents closed. There's no way to completely keep the humidity under control but since it's only a month I can't see there being any real issues.
