  • Comparing Curt Hitches C25FV And C74MJ For 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV
  • Hello David, thanks for reaching out. Sounds like you are on the right track here. Both the Curt # C25FV (13568) and # C74MJ (13627) will fit all models of the 2024 CX-90 and this includes the PHEV plug-in hybrid model. This is actually a rare case where Curt offers two different hitches for the same make and model of vehicle. They both have the same weight capacity so the only real difference is now then install. • Recommended Hitch for a 2026 Mazda CX-90 Plug-In Hybrid
  • It sure does Steve, and congrats on your new SUV. The Curt Hitch item # C74MJ does indeed fit the Plug-In Hybrid model of the 2026 Mazda CX-90. • Hi Kent! Installing the Curt Hitch # C74MJ on your 2024 Mazda CX-90 doesn't actually look like it will lower your ground clearance at all. The measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver will be 16" and with the hitch being a 2" receiver, the bottom would be right at 14" (probably closer to 13-3/4"). The lowest part of your vehicle is 8", so you won't be changing that with the install. If you look at the picture I included, you can see what I mean. What are you planning...

  • Are The Buckles On The Tie Down Straps Metal? Have You Noticed Any Issues?
  • Hey Jerome, The buckles on the straps to secure the wheels on the Swagman # S64720 are metal. But the are not fixed and can be moved to different positions around the tire and wheel base. I have not seen any issues with the buckle damaging a bike in my time here. Since you can adjust where it sits it does not have to sit right on the wheel or tire and can sit off the side. I have not seen issues but if it is a concern I have seen people use simple straps or bungee chords. Since the...
