Hey Jason! The easiest option would be to use the Trimax Trailer Coupler Latch or Door Lock # TMX26SR. You will run this lock through the hole in the trigger latch to keep it secure. You can also use a lock like the Trimax Universal Trailer Coupler Lock # TMX47FR which will fit that 2-5/16" coupler. What you've been told is likely the culprit, and I don't believe that it's coming from an issue on the Curt # C56357 you've installed. I would check the ground wire on the trailer wiring harness to make sure that it is connected to a paint, rust and debris free spot on the trailer frame. Hey Mike! The wheelbase varies from bike rack to bike rack. The only rack that can hold that much weight is the Saris MHS DUO # SAR73MR with a capacity of 100 lbs per bike. However, the max wheelbase on this rack is 53" so you're just a little too long. If you can pull batteries off of those then you can use the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR. This bike rack can hold 80 lbs per bike and works with a wheelbase up to 60" so yours won't be a problem.

Hey Josh, since you're using a plug and play harness # RED39FR there shouldn't be a whole lot of riff raff to use it so the only thing I can think of is that either you have a faulty harness or that there is a blown fuse somewhere that needs to be replaced.
