Today, we're going to take a look at the Replacement Heat Shield for the Fireside Outdoor Pop-Up Fire Pit. Now this part will replace one worn-out or damaged Heat Shield that's on your Fireside Outdoor Pop-Up Fire Pit, and that Fire Pit part number is 389CB001. We do sell that separately on our website, and when you do purchase the Fire Pit, it does come with one of these Heat Shields. This is just a replacement part if you need an extra one or if the one you have is worn-out.Now I do want to show you how this works. I happened to pull one of those Fire Pits and put it together, and just want to describe what the Heat Shield does for you. Here's that Pop-Up Fire Pit we we're talking about.
And what this Heat Shield does, if you notice on the Heat Shield itself, it has these Velcro straps on each corner. And what it's designed to do is, on this Fire Pit, you build your fire right up here. And what this does, is the Heat Shield will go underneath and attach using these Velcro strips to these Velcro tabs on the legs. So if we just put it around like that and attach it, and then if we go over here, and we do the same, and then you'll attach it, and we'll put it around there and attach it, and then do the same right on this corner.So with that Heat Shield attached and underneath right there, what that does is this will let you enjoy your fire without leaving a trace on the ground. The shield will keep the heat from your fire from transferring to the ground, so it allows you to enjoy fires like if you're on grass, if you're on wood decks, or parking lots, and it won't damage anything around you.
The fire would be up here, and this Heat Shield, which is flame retardant, will keep any of the heat from getting to the area this is set on.A few dimensions on the Heat Shield itself. It's 24 inches wide by 24 inches long. Now you don't have to use that, but it's a nice feature to have. If you're going to setup your fire like in a parking lot or something, you don't want any damage from the heat. Let's just go ahead and take this off.
And as I mentioned, when you do buy one of these Fire Pits, it does initially come with one, so this is just the replacement part number. And we'll go ahead and set our Fire Pit down, but that should do it for the review on the Replacement Heat Shield for the Fireside Outdoor Pop-Up Fire Pit.

This portable fire pit fits our needs as several campgrounds will let you have a fire as long as it is off the ground. Many people are going to the Solo type fire containers but they take up so much room! This folds up neatly, is portable, and easily stored in our RV bays.

We love the new grate for our pop-up fire pit. My husband loves its simplicity and its light weight. It folds into thirds and it is easy to flip up and stoke the fire.
We are cooking steaks on it tonight for New Years Eve.
We will use it on many camping trips because we enjoy sitting around a real wood fire. So relaxing. And toasted marshmallows are so much tastier over a wood Fire than a propane one.
