Micheal.: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the spring loaded pull pin for your fifth wheel landing gear. This is going to replace the standard pull pin on your jack for your fifth wheel landing gear. It is compatible with both the etrailer and the Ram fifth wheel landing gear jack. Basically, it's going to be a lot easier to use than your standard pull pin, because it is spring loaded it will remain attached to your jack so that when you need to raise or lower your jack, you can simply pull on the pin there and raise it up or lower it.
And then because it is spring loaded it will always go back into place. You're not going to have to worry about it coming loose. You're not going to have to worry about taking the pin out and setting it down, forgetting it somewhere or anything like that.This is going to remain attached to your jacks. It's going to be very convenient and very easy to use. The pin diameter is three eighths of an inch.
So, it will work with those three and three eights of an inch holes, and you can see the mounting bracket and all the hardware is included. So, it's going to be very easy to get that mounted in place and then use our spring loaded pull pin to make sure that our legs are locked out. It worked great. but I sold the trailer.
So much better that the pin, it can be over tightened even with a 1/4 wracked so be careful.
Slide action of this pull pin is great for the price.
I like the way these work, they make life easier ... I ordered this as a replacement for one that failed after the 3rd trip
