Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this pre-cut steel backing plate for a single axle trailer fender. Now, this backing plate will protect the side of your single axle trailer from any water or road debris, by using this fender backing plate on your fender. This backing plate, you can see, is pre-cut to fit and easily weld onto your single axle fender. Now, this plate was specifically designed to fit a single axle trailer fender that has a 90 degree back and a one inch radius front.

We do sell that fender separately on our website as part number HP56VR, and I just want to pull that fender to show you what we're talking about. And this is a fender. If you look at it, you can see the back of it has a 90 degree design to it. And the front has the one inch roll radius slip to it. Now, this backing plate is designed to fit this fender.

It will also fit other fenders that have the same size of this fender here. This fender length is 32 inches long. Overall height is 15 inches. So, just to show you, this the blacking plate. You can see that it'll go right up against the 90 degree back on this, and it has the correct radius and everything fits right in there.

I just tilt that back then you can see that needs to be welded all the way around to fit in there correctly. The backing plate itself is a sturdy 18-gauge steel construction, and it is made in the USA. Last thing I want to do is give you some dimensions on the backing plate. Now, this part is for a quantity of one backing plate. The length of the backing plate from end to end is going to be right at 30 inches long.

And the height of it at the tallest point right in the middle is going to be right at 10 and three quarter inches tall. But that should do it for the review on this pre-cut steel backing plate for a single axle trailer fender..
