Increase the size of your bumper-mounted RV cargo carrier with this 24" extension. Simply add the extension between the left and right side of your basket and you're ready to haul more gear.

Expandable Width
If you outgrow your 40" or 60" etrailer RV bumper-mounted cargo carrier (e99049 and e99050 - sold separately), you can add extensions to increase it's width. For the 60" carrier you can add 1 extension to make it 84" wide. For the 40" carrier you can add up to 2 extensions, which would make it either 64" or 88" wide, depending on how many you add. To install the extension, place the mounting brackets an additional 24" or 48" apart on the bumper, unbolt the junction between the left and right side of the basket, and bolt the extension between them.

Ordered after personal company suggestion. Rcv’d to find out it was not what could be used. Called customer service & felt no remorse (& agreed the carrier could not be used on my rig) that their recommendation was wrong. They could care less about how to send the carrier back (repacking & postage not covered) at a cost of more than the initial cost of the carrier. Total waste of time & money (@ etrailers recommendation) buyer beware

We paid an extra [XX]$ to have it delivered o. 1/6/2023,as we were leaving on the early morning of the 7th to travel XC..Instead it was delivered on the 7th,therefore, we DO NOT HAVE THE CARRIER!!

looks like it will work very well for what I bought it for, and that is to haul a generator as needed. Only thing to make it better would be a better diagram of installation, or maybe it was missing in my package.

The cargo carrier I installed a year ago is great. It’s functional and roomy. It’s carrying a generator and two propane tanks with room for a spare tire.
