The collar automatically aligns the hitch pin holes on your favorite 2" accessory and a 2" trailer hitch receiver every time you install it. It prevents you from having to bend down or stick your finger into the hole to check for alignment. It also eases the burden of installing a heavy accessory, like a cargo carrier, that's hard to wiggle forward or back in small increments.
The stop collar easily installs on most 2" accessories and once installed, it doesn't have to be adjusted - set it and forget it. To install, just slide the collar onto the accessory's 2" shank, insert the shank into your hitch, align the pin holes, slide the collar up against your hitch, and tighten down both hand knobs. If there are any impediments simply unscrew the knobs, split the collar into 2 pieces, and put it back together past the point of impediment.

Excellent time saving device. My cargo carrier has become so popular with other members of the family that I find myself moving it to various vehicles and then back to my vehicle. I happens that the other receiver hitches match mine and I can easily insert the carrier tongue into the receiver and the pin lines up perfectly. That saves getting down on the ground to visualize the alignment. Worth every penny!
Captain S - 12/29/2022Simple, effective design with perfect function. Slip the collar around your hitch bar before inserting your hitch into the receiver. Pin your hitch. Butt the collar against the receiver and tighten. Thereafter, hitch-pin hole alignment is always perfect. Excellent value.
This seems to be a great product. So nice to have the hitch pin holes align the first time without having to move the trailer tongue back and forth, a real time saver!

I use this device on my hitch receiver mounted bike rack, which I remove from the vehicle and put back on often. This works very nicely to line up the placement of the bike rack thus saving a lot of time and effort in getting the hitch pin bolt in place. I recommend this product.
Mark - 08/20/2022The product is good and strong. It was purchased to go with the Curt 2 bike rack and hitch. So far the hitch connection is solid and this collar is not needed at this time for stability. I will use the collar in the future for pin alignment to aid in mounting the rack into the hitch.
Paul - 08/17/2022It’s the perfect mechanism for those trailer hitches that weigh as much as a railroad coupler. Put your hitch on with the pin inserted in the hole, set the hitch pin alignment collar on and you never have to push and pull that monster to get the pin aligned again. Just slide it on up to the collar and bingo your hitch pin aligned. Absolutely ingenious!

While I have yet to install the collar, it looks exactly like what I need to align the hitch as it is a struggle to get the pin through the receiver without getting on my knees and using a screwdriver to line up the holes. This should do the trick!
Does not fit my CURT 18153 cargo carrier. Will fit sideways, which still works. Too wide to work with my hitches.
Makes mounting my StowAway2 a lot easier on my motorhome. No second guessing on aligning the hole.

This Bike rack is well built and easy to assemble.
As far as I can tell the Trailer Hitch Receiver works great. The good part and drawback are the same thing. It is under the car and does not stick out. The nice thing is you can't even tell it is there if nothing is hitched to it. The bad thing is you have to sort of get under the car to attach the locking pin in. But so far that is not a problem and I love having the hitch.
I was not able to use the collar due to the design of my receiver. The receiver has a "balloon" near the end of the receiver which prohibits proper alignment of the collar
Have to admit I was skeptical about this but works great once adjuster to your particular accessory
Very handy. Saves fumbling around with the hitch pin looking for the hole you can't see. One less hassle hitching up. I put one on each of my hitch inserts.
It is a simple thing. I probably don't need it as I am perfectly capable of lining up the pin hole on my hitch. Thing is, I don't want to. I have lined up pin holes probably a thousand times and it is annoying, sweaty, and if I make a bad decision finger pinching affair. So no, I don't need this, but I do love having it. I put my bike rack in the hitch, put in the pin and go ride. Just makes my day a wee bit more enjoyable.
Easy to use & makes connecting a bike rack or cargo carrier easier as these can be awkward getting in the right place.
Simple and inexpensive, but a very convenient accessory for our bike rack.
I haven't used it yet. A travel date is coming up and I will put it to the test. All products I've purchased from you have been great.
The wing nut is too close to the receiver hitch so you can’t tighten it enough
The collar/clamp doesn’t hold its position on the bike rack
was unable to use this on my bike rack because the 2" portion is inserted all the way into the trailer hitch
