2019 F250 setting up E2 trunnion hitch to pull an Airstream Globetrotter 25FB. This trailer is lower to ground than most and needs about 19-20 inches to the top of the ball when towing for the trailer to be level. This nine inch drop worked out perfect and still allows the set up to be adjusted one setting lower. Cant go wrong this ordering from etrailer.

by:

Needed up upgrade the shank on our E4 to match the newer 3/4 ton pickup. Part arrived promptly and has worked flawlessly the entire time. Pulling an Imagine 2600RB, moving from a 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton truck was one of the best upgrades we have made.

by:

Just what I needed to get the correct height to hook up my Rv weight distribution hitch on my lifted 2022 F-250. Easy to install . Adjustable height range

by:

Fits perfectly. Heavy and solid

Kenneth

2/12/2024

Works well with the Ram 2500 to get the hitch height down to 17 -18 in above the ground.

by:

Worked perfectly for my truck. Is solid and I have no doubts about the strength of it. I have a 2016 Silverado 2500HD with a 7” lift and 37” tires. I could have gotten away with an 8” drop as I do have some extra holes at the bottom. If I had airbags that might be different. My trailer is also much taller than most other travel trailers.

by:

when I called e trailer they were very knowledgeable and helpful!

by:

Good alternative for bigger trucks. Still has plenty of ground clearance.

by:

Very solid device.

by:

Equal-i-zer makes a quality product including this shank. Etrailer went out of their way to get the exact model I needed (which was not a stock item for them) and provided excellent customer service by keeping me informed of the status of my order. I greatly appreciate the efforts of the entire team.

by:

Got a new truck which had a 3" lift so needed a bigger drop. Ordered the 12" drop by accident and called to get it retured and get this one. Teresa was awesome and got me squared away.

Quality is great and was just wat I needed! Got the trailer leveled up and ready for spring.

by:

Danielle h is very good at her job tell her what you want and you shall receive. I was very picky I have a 6” jacked up 2500 ram on 37” tires she got me the hitch I needed for my camper. It also was supposed to take more time to get and it delivered 5 days early. Thank you Danielle h

by:

Tremendous piece of Steel! It provided JUST the right amount of Drop to enable proper towing of our Airstream with the 2500 Cummins Ram.
Thanks to everyone at etrailer YET AGAIN for making another project a success.

by:

Etrailer provided excellent customer service. I had ordered a piece of equipment which was on back order and they responded quickly by notifying, helping me find a different part that arrived in 3 days.

by:

Exactly what I order with supper fast shipping.
Thanks

by:

Product as described. Fast shipping. Great experience.

by:

etrailer has always provided me with honest, professional, high quality service, and I will be happy to do business with them in the future.

by:

well we got it closer i will have 2 holes drilled into it

by:

The shank is Extremely heavy duty but the paint just peels away very easily. It will rust very quickly.

Thank you for the review! I wanted to share a link that talks about different ways to prevent rust, and one way is to use a rust inhibiting spray paint to touch any bare spots.

by:

Exactly as advertised. We’ll built product delivered on time.

Item as advertised. Left same day and arrived within three days. Great customer experience!

  • Availability of 2-1/2 Inch Shank for Husky Round Bar Weight Distribution System
The channel width on the weight distribution head of your Husky system isn't hitch specific, so you can use a 2-1/2 inch shank from Equal-i-zer or Curt. • How to Determine if a Shorter Weight Distribution Shank Can Be Used
Whether the 8' distance from the hitch pin hole to the adjustment holes on the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank # EQ94FR will be an issue or not is dependent on your truck and trailer set-up. There is not a clear yes or no, it depends on the clearances you have. If you are utilizing the whole 11" or 12" that your 2" hitch shank has, then the 8" distance would not be adequate. If you have room to spare between your truck and trailer with your current shank then the # EQ94FR may work...

  • Longest Weight Distribution Shank for a 2-1/2 Inch Hitch Receiver
Thanks for the picture! The longest weight distribution shank we have that fits a 2-1/2" hitch receiver is the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank item # EQ94FR. From hitch pin hole to the end of the shank is 12". It has a maximum tongue weight of 1,600 lbs and a maximum gross towing weight of 16,000 lbs. I have linked a diagram below that will show you the dimensions of this shank.

  • Recommended Weight Distribution Shank With 9" Drop For 2-1/2" Receiver On 2017 Ford F-250
I have another option, but after speaking with my contact at Fastway the Flash Solid Steel HD Adjustable 2-Ball Mount - 2.5" Hitch - 10" Drop, 9" Rise - 20K # FA49-00-5925 was not designed for use with a weight distribution system and as such I do not recommend doing so. • How To Use Equal-i-zer 1400/14000lb Weight Distribution Hitch In 2021 Ford F-350 W/ 3" Receiver
I have another option for you, but due to the tongue weight of your trailer being right at the max 1200lb rating of the Buyers Products # 337RTA302, and your 2021 Ford F-350's 3" trailer hitch receiver having a hitch pin hole of 5/8" meaning it will not work correctly with the # C45408 I do not recommend either of these option. • Upgrading a 2 Inch Husky Centerline Shank to a 2 1/2 Inch Shank
Reducer sleeves like the Curt # C45405 will work with weight distribution hitches, but I highly recommend using an anti-rattle device like the Roadmaster Quite Hitch # RM-062 with it. There can still be movement, however, so a new shank would be a better option. The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank # EQ94FR is rated to a maximum tongue capacity of 1,600 pounds and would give you a maximum drop of 9 inches. As you mentioned needing more drop that what came standard with your Husky,...
