Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Dutton-Lainson winch cable pulley block with the snap hook. Has a 2,000 pound working load limit. Now, this pulley block is for your StrongArm electric winch, and it'll let you change the direction of the pull. You can also use it to increase your winch's pulling capacity by doubling up your winch rope.
This is designed to work with cable sizes up to 3/8 of an inch in diameter. And if you notice on the hook, it has this spring-loaded latch, which will prevent the rope from sliding off the hook. As we mentioned, it has a working load limit of 2,000 pounds. And you can see there's your keeper or latch there that holds it onto the rope. You can easily remove the hook if you like by using this wing nut.
Just hold the nut on this side and tighten this, untighten it, and you can remove it very easily if you need to. And then there's your roller. But that should do it for the review on this Dutton-Lainson winch cable pulley block with the snap hook..
