Today we're going to be taking a look at the mounting bolts and hardware for 12-1/4 inch brake assemblies. You can use this hardware kit to mount one 12-1/4 inch brake assembly on your trailer. It includes the mounting bolts, lock washers, and nuts that are necessary for the installation. This kit's designed for axles with 10,000 pound to 15,000 pound capacities. It's going to work with electric or hydraulic brakes. It's going to come with seven bolts, seven nuts, and seven lock washers. The bolts are going to have a diameter of 7/16 of an inch.
And they're going to give us a length measurement, from the bottom of the bolt head to the end of the threads, of 1-3/4 inches long. And the head will accept a 5/8 inch wrench or socket. The nuts are 7/16 inch by 20. And they will accept a 11/16 inch socket, or wrench. That's going to do it for today's look at the mounting bolts and hardware for 12-1/4 inch brake assemblies.

Great quality hardware to renovate my heavy equipment trailer brakes. The overall price is much lower buying in a kit than buying the higher minimum qty's of bolts, nuts and washers from the big harware suppliers.
One problem: one of 28 lock washers was the wrong size, 3/8 vs 7/16. I'll need to get one at the local hardware store. While this seems to be a small problem, consider that my heavy task requires two men to travel to a remote work site. It is a big problem to be short any kind of part, regardless of price.
I'm a retired Mfg Engineer. I know firsthand having the correct material on time is a very big deal. I do understand how this happens. That's why I always check kits and tooling before traveling to my work sites.
Overall: Great job with quality, delivery and price.
