Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're taking a quick look at the Demco master cylinder adapter. This is going to allow you to use a power bleeder to bleed your brakes and clear out that fluid so you can put in some fresh fluid, get everything running properly. This lets you put in a compressor or a hand compressor or a power bleeder to do that, to make it a little bit faster rather than having to worry about manually activating that cylinder, something that's not very fun to have to do so, makes that job a little bit easier.I've got a Demco brake actuator. I'll zoom out a little bit so we can look at that and this is going to mount in the top of the reservoir. And this should work with most of your Demco brake actuators.
It might not work with every single one, but with this one, this is one of our more common brake actuators, more popular ones. It looks like it threads down pretty easily, so it should work out just fine. You'll notice that there is that gasket at the bottom. So that's going to help to provide a good seal for that. So you shouldn't have any fluid coming out and causing any issues in it getting onto your paint and things like that.
But that's going to reduce that size down. So now you can attach a air compressor or a power bleeder to that.So it just threads right in. Does have kind of grips on the side to make that easy. That gasket is replaceable, so if anything should happen to it, that rubber starts to crack over time, you can replace that out and shouldn't have any issues with it. Give you a comparison of the caps.
So as long as your cap looks something like that, should match up pretty well. I think it's going to be a pretty common size for a lot of your Demco brake actuators. But that's pretty much all there is to it for our Demco master cylinder adapter for power bleeders. Thanks for watching.
