If you have a Curt Rebellion XD Ball Mount and you are looking for a pin and clip because it doesn't come with one, I recommend grabbing the lock kit for it just because this ball mount is going to draw a lot of attention. I really like using it and I'm sure you do too, but you want to keep it because it's really, really simple just for somebody to even park next to you, look at your ball mount, they say they like it. All they have to do pull this, pull this, and it is theirs. It is that easy and that simple. So what we want to do is prevent that. Obviously, we'd like to think the best of people, but some people just got sticky fingers.
So this way, what we can do instead of doing that, we can go ahead and grab the lock kit.Lock kit comes with two different things, so we can go ahead and lock the shank portion of our ball mount to our hitch and also we can go ahead and lock our ball to our shank. So all you really need to do, it's just the same exact installation process as a normal pin and clip, but this time on the end we're going to go ahead and grab our key. Go ahead and unlock that. It's going to slide right on like that. Go ahead and lock it into place.And then it's literally impossible.
Unless someone grabs a grinder, this ball mount isn't going anywhere. This kit's going to come with a lock for your ball mount and for the ball. I recommend just grabbing both of them. We do sell just the one for your ball. So if you do already have a hitch lock for your accessories, you can use that and just grab this.
But if you don't have both of them, I recommend grabbing both.They both work the same. They slide on. You lock them into place with our key, and that's all it really takes to keep a relatively expensive ball mount in your hitch. The hitch pin that comes with it is stainless steel and it's going to match with all the other ones on your ball mount, so it's not going to seem out of place. Also, it's not going to rust away over time.
So everything on this ball Mount is going to be resistant against all that salt and stuff if you're hauling in the winter.Regardless of what kind of ball mount that you have or any kind of accessory you have, and you put it in your hitch, I always recommend getting a lock and especially with the Rebellion XD, just because it's a nice ball mount.Also, if you have a 2-1/2 inch hitch or a 2 inch hitch, it's going to work with those too.That's going to do it for our look at the lock set for your Curt Rebellion XD Ball Mount.

Still holding strong after one year in service. Spray it with a little protectant once in a while and you’re good to go!

Too light in materials a hammer could break them not going to test that, Curt needs to make the body out of stainless steel
