Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement long arm for the Curt two or four-bike platform racks. Now this part will replace the long arm on your Curt platform bike rack. It is designed to work with the two-bike model racks, which is C18085 or C18085-FB, and also the four-bike models, which is C18087 or the C18087-FB. All of those bike racks we do sell separately` on our website.Now this hook is designed to slide easily onto the upright mast of your bike rack, and it will securely hold one bike in place during travel.

So basically when this slides on the mast, you just push this, and it will let you adjust it up or down. And then when you get it to the right position all the way down, you just let it go.And if you notice, it does offer a locking feature, so it allows you to lock the hook in place to your bike to prevent any theft. Does come with the two keys. Basically, when you get it into position, put your key in there, just turn it a quarter of a turn, and that'll prevent anybody from pushing down and releasing it, so it keeps your bike in place there. And then when you're ready to remove your bike, just put the key in, turn it back, and that will allow you to push it in to release the hook and release your bike.

Also, if you notice on the top of the hook here, has a nice thick, durable foam protection on the top hook, prevents any damage to your bike.But that should do it for the review on the replacement long arm for the Curt two or four-bike platform bike racks.
