Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this CURT replacement short locking arm for the CURT two or four bike platform rack. Now, this part will replace the short locking arm that's on your CURT platform bike rack. This will securely hold one bike in place during travel. And right here, this portion will go on the upright arm and it ratchets, ratchets easily up and down on that upright arm of your bike rack.

This arm will adjust independently along the mast to hold bikes of different shapes and sizes. If you notice on the very top of the hook portion right here, it is cushioned. And this will firmly grip your bike by the top tube. The padding on it protects the bike's finish from any scuffs and scratches. And it does have this integrated lock on it that'll secure the bike to the rack.

Now, this part is designed to work with the two-bike models, and that's CURT part number C18085 or the C18085-FB, and also, the four-bike models, which are CURT part number C18087 or the C18087FB.
