Today, we're going to take a look at the Curt custom fifth wheel bracket kit for the Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Now, this is a custom fit kit. It is designed to fit the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year, model, vehicle, and it'll show you if this'll work for your application.Now, these brackets are designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel base rails. Now, the base rails we do sell separately. Does require the Curt base rails, part number C16104 or part number C16204.
Both of those base rail part numbers we do sell separately on our website.Now, these brackets will provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes already in your vehicle's frame. Helps minimize the amount of drilling that's required. And it cuts the installation time in half when compared with universal bracket kits.It does include everything laid out here on the table. Includes all the necessary hardware to install these. Nice set of detailed instructions.Now, these brackets are a carbon steel construction.
They're protected by a rust resistant liquid Bonderite coating. And these brackets when they're used with the base rails are compatible with B&W, Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, and Reese above-bed fifth wheel trailer hitches. The order was quick to the house and easy to order on the phone, but the only thing is the packaging was open when it arrived. It’s heavy parts for a fifth wheel hitch so the only complaint I have is that they secure the packaging better.

I talked to two different Auto Accessory shops, and both told me that my hitch, a Curt E-16 would not fit or adapt to my 2020 Chevrolet 2500 HD, I thought that they didn't know or was to busy to even look into it, So I went on e-trailer and sure enough the adapter brackets I needed were there. I called and ordered them right then. Initially I was told shipping was going to be in 3 to 4 days. As it turned out, I received the in 2 days, I did the install my self with the help of the video on the web site. Couldn't ask for more. Again a Big thank you to etrailer.
