Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy etrailer.com. Today we are taking a look at a Cargosmart Dual Arm Tool Hook. Essentially this is meant to work with either E-Track or X-tract. See it's going to clip right in and it gives us an excellent spot to store tools with longer handles, kind of keep everything from being piled up in the corner when you got to dig through it or even for hanging other items on. You can see it's a nice wide hook, it has two arms on it, they come out and those are going to be rubber coated is a lot of good grip there and you can see it's going to connect in very easily. To the ear X-track uses the standard connector, so we'll pull that site it in, rotate the bottom down and just clip it into position. That makes it a very modular type hook, we can mount this just about anywhere, we don't have to choose just one location to do it. This is a gray powder coat finish on our connector and all the way through our arms.
Then you can see main length here has also been rubber dip just to give your items a little bit of protection and also does a good job to keep things from kind of moving around. You can see here when using it with tools, you're going to sit probably two or three on there just depending on what you've got. I think three shovels would sit on there. You get into larger brooms and stuff like this would be looking more at too. But this can be a great way to just get everything nice and organized, get stuff out of the corner and get it up to where it's readily accessible anytime you need it.Now let's take a look at a few measurements here, this will help you to determine whether it's going to work in your application or not.
So it is going to be about seven and three quarters of an inch from our mounting surface, the outside edge of our hook there. So as you can see guys, this extract is something that I really like. I think putting this in enclosed trailers like this but also basements, garages, shops and things. I think it's really, really nice. I like this hook.
I definitely think it's got good depth to it, it's wide enough. I would definitely get that to keep my tools up and out of the way. The thing I like about it is things can be switched around at any configuration, you can put them anywhere you want along your extract that you already have installed. And it's just one of many, many accessories that are available to make your life a little bit easier when using the X-track system.
