Camco Insulator for RV Roof Vents - Removable Fleece Cover

First time using etrailer and I can say I’m very pleased. I looked around for a good price on the Camco
insulators for RV roof vents. They beat everyone in price and the delivery took just a few days.
The insulators fit perfect and I like the idea of being able to unzip and wash the covers.

These don't really stay in the vent. They work better as pillows. LOL. I had to make a cover out of vinyl (like a window shade) with snaps and change the vent mounting screws to snaps, so that the cover will hold these things in place.
If you are not moving, they might stay in place.
A little velcro along the sides of your vent would help.

Haven’t used it yet, but looks like it will do the job. The reason we got it was because last year we had a situation where we had about 3-4 inches of snow on the roof of our RV. With the heater going to stay warm, this caused some condensation in the roof vent and droplets of water fell onto our bed below.
This made about a 2 1/2’ to 3’ area wet spot on the bed. My wife had to sleep on the dinette/bed part of the RV. This should be able to keep the hot air out, and eliminate condensation if the same situation happens again.620245

These will do the job but they are nothing like the older insulators. I will probably add a sheet of reflextics to block out the light. I'm in the desert and while these block the heat I also like to block the light during storage.1052106

This was exactly what I wanted. The vents in the ceiling are quite drafty, so this fit the bill for me. Not to mention blocking some of the light, I like to sleep in the dark so this helps. What might be helpful in the future is to offer blackening covers.
