Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the Bulldog Winch Single Cylinder Onboard Air Compressor. This is a great item to have in place in your vehicle if you've got a Jeep, an RV or a truck or any other vehicle that you want to have that capacity to fill airbags, to fill your tires, this makes it really easy to do that. The thing that's nice about it is that it's going to be pretty compact, it's also weatherproof, dustproof, so you can mount this anywhere outside the vehicle. It has an IP67 rating, so that means that it's completely dust proof and it also can be immersed in water without any damage to the unit overall. So it makes it very versatile.

You can place it pretty much anywhere. It is going to be loud, so you might not want to put it inside the cab of your vehicle, but since it is rated pretty highly for that weather proofing, you shouldn't have any issues putting this underneath the vehicle.So that makes it really nice there. It comes with everything you see laid out here on the table. So we'll get our actual compressor, a filter to make sure the air is clean as it's going in there and then also the mounting hardware. So pretty nice compressor overall, you can see we have the little rubber isolator feet.

So as this is running, it's not going to cause any rattling. It's going to isolate it from the rest of your vehicle. You'll have some wiring here to cut into your harness. So this will have a pre-wired relay harness, that just makes it a little bit easier to splice into your existing wiring. It does have a 22 inch long three, eighth inch diameter liter hose, and this does have a check valve to help prevent any back pressure into the cylinder.This is rated for 200 PSI, so it'll give you 1.8 cubic feet per minute at 200 pounds per square inch to fill your tank.

And that just really makes it nice. So it's going to give you quick, powerful air to fill up that tank, so that way you never have to be without air in your tank or in your bags or whatever you might be using it with. It should work pretty well. You never have to go find a gas station to fill up your tank again or be without that. So if you're going to go rock crawling or you just want to fill up your tires, make sure that they're always prepared, you will always be able to do that without having to have anybody else come to your aid.So, it allows you to also operate anything like air lockers, air horns, or any other standard duty air tools.

And of course, again, inflate your tires. The duty cycle for this is 50% at 200 PSI and the max power draw is 12 amps.
