What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this bulldog winch cinch strap. This is gonna be used to take up that extra strap you have so it's not just flop around behind the vehicle as you're driving down, and keeps everything nice and neat and together. Let's check it out. So this is gonna be all that extra strap we have on our eight foot ratchet straps here so, quite a bit leftover. You don't want this hanging around while you're driving down the way.

Now you could come up here and tie it on itself, like this. Can go that route but, that never really gets that tight. You see like that, even if I had it all wound up in there, never really gets that tight, it won't stay that way as it moves and you're going down the road, you see it loosens, there's more space and it just eventually come undone. So that's where the cinch strap comes into play. With that, we could roll it up.

Just like this. Kind of leave it in there. And get our cinch strap, run that around. It's got a hook and loop. And you can just pull it through here, through itself, and what you can do, is I like that you can pull it real tight.

Let me get away from the mechanism right there on this strap, we'll pull more, wrap it around, like that and see how nice it holds that, how tight it is. It's way better than that knot I had over there. And this is gonna last. You're not going to have to check it as often when you're going down the road. They're gonna come in a kit of four.

So in our situation today, we've got two on the back and two on the front of the vehicle. It's gonna work out perfectly, just get one kit and all the straps are covered. The cinch straps gonna be, one inch wide and then 18 inches long. So it's gonna have plenty of strap to go around with all this extra strap here. It goes around the mechanism and the strap that's tucked inside, with a little room, you saw me pull it tight. So there is a little bit more to it. So it's gonna be for most of your ratchet trap. Not only can they be used when you have it set up on your vehicle like we do here or whatever load you're tying down, but you can use 'em when you've taken 'em down, you go to store 'em in your bag or the back of your truck because we all know you got those straps that you wrap up without the cinch strap, it's gonna come loose, take up a bunch of space. They can even get tangled together so then when you're reaching in the back of your truck or your bag to pull 'em out, you're gonna get more than one strap at one time, they're gonna be a tangled mess. This is a lot nicer and neater, and they're gonna take up less space overall. Overall, I think it's one of those things that you can dismiss pretty easily at first. But when you start using 'em, you see how helpful they're gonna be, and how much it kinda saves you on stress of just checking the straps all the time. When you put 'em away it makes them nice and condense. Take up less space, less tangled straps when you pull 'em out of the bag like I said. It's really kind of a must have I feel like now that I've worked with it, I feel like I gotta have these with my ratchet straps, just to keep everything nice and neat when they're in use and not in use.
