Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement remote for the Brake Buddy Select Supplemental Braking System.This remote comes with your Brake Buddy Select Braking System. This is going to work with the Vantage Select, the Select Two and the Select Three which is available here at etrailer.com. That part number is HM39524.Just to note, this is not compatible with the classic version from Brake Buddy. So if you have that classic version that's kind of the tan one, this is not going to work with it.If you're trying to kind of upgrade one to the other, just keep that in mind, but it's going to come with all the same stuff that our original remote came with.It's going to allow us to adjust the braking mode, and also be able to adjust the sensitivity, and put on our brakes in the cab of our RV while we're going down the road.It's going to give us some readouts to let us know what's going on.

If our Brake Buddy needs is having some issues, it's going put a light there. If we need to replace the battery on the remote, it's going to give us a light there.So all those same functions that we originally had, including an indicator for when our brake is activated in our towed vehicle.Comes with a little rubber pad to keep that a little bit more stable in our cab of our RV. Just has some little nibs there that are going to grab into that hole of the back of the remote.It's not terribly sticky. Does have a little arrow pointing up so you know which way to face this. But it kind of provides a little bit of a suction cup action.

Even on my table here, it's just got a paper top. It does stick just a little bit, so it's going to help it to keep them from sliding all over.Also comes with the 12 volt outlet plug, so we can plug this into our 12 volt on our RV, plug it in through remote, and we'll have power for that. Or it does come with a AA battery to get that installed and use battery power instead if we want to go that route.So should allow you to communicate with your Brake Buddy from your RV so you don't have to worry about going from one to the other to make any of those adjustments.If you need any other replacement parts, or any items for your braking set up, you can always check your etrailer.com for all those components.That's going to do it for our look at the replacement remote for the Brake Buddy Select Supplemental Braking System.
