When you lift your vehicle, you create a gap between your frame and your factory suspension. Because of this, your air springs won't make appropriate contact with your suspension system and you won't get the support you're looking for. If you want both a lifted vehicle and the added support of air springs, then you have to close this gap. With Air Lift's universal air spring spacer kit, you can effectively do that, ensuring that your lifted vehicle will ride safer, handle better, and navigate rugged roads with ease. The spacers are installed between the air bags and the mounting brackets, closing the gap between your frame and your OEM suspension.

The spacers work with Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 and LoadLifter 7500 XL, as well as other brands such as Firestone. And they are made of corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel.

After blowing three fittings out of the top of the air bag, and calling Air-Lift, I found out that I needed the spacer kit, sold separately. My truck has the camper package and the additional spring increases the distance between the mounting plates in excess of the design. I missed that memo.
Air-Lift was very professional and responsive sending new bags and fittings within days. That is as American Strong as it gets.
With the lift plates, "Lock-in-Lift Spacers AL52130" installed, product works great.

To etrailer: Include the memo/diagram of the necessary distance between the mounting plates.

Received spacers and they are perfect. You guys are great, very helpful. Thanks again, will be calling again.

They held up for alil but once my truck start to flex off-road, the teeth broke on them

  • Recommended Air Helper Springs And On-Board Air Compressor For 2018 Ford F-150 W/ 6 Lift
I have another option for you, but the Air Lift Ride Control # AL59570 will not fit your 2018 Ford F-150 since it has a 6" lift. Instead I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88268 if your truck is a 2WD, or the # AL88385 if your truck is a 4WD model. Since your truck has a 6" suspension lift you will either need the 6" Spacer # AL52460, or a 4" spacer # AL52440. A lot of times a 6" lift is not truly 6" so I highly recommend...

  • Which AirLift Air Bags Are Needed for a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 with a Lift Installed
We've got just what you're looking for. You can use the AirLift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88288 on your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 4WD with a lift, but it's likely that you're going to need spacer blocks for the bags. To determine if you're going to need a spacer block you'll want to measure the distance between the mounting surfaces of the upper and lower brackets and then subtract the height of the air bags, which for the # AL88288 is 5-1/2". The available spacers for...

  • Is Spacer Needed To Instal Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 On 2008 Toyota Tundra W/ 4.5" Lift?
To install the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88299 on your 2008 Toyota Tundra with a 4.5" Lift Kit you will indeed need a spacer. More than likely you will need the 4" spacer # AL52440 but the only way to be sure is to measure the distance from the bottom of the air helper spring to the top of the lower mounting bracket. The other two spacer options available are the 2" # AL52420 and 6" # AL52460. I included a video...

For your air springs, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57365. For your 4 inch lift, you will also need the Air Lift Lock-N-Lift Spacers for Lifted Vehicles - 4" Lift # AL52440 for this installation. I've attached a video to show you this install. This combination will give you the air springs you are seeking with manual...

  • Air Lift LoadLifter Fit on 2019 Ford F-250 With 6" Lift Kit
It looks like the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL # AL57577 will bolt up on your 2019 Ford F-250 with the 6" lift. Your lift kit moved the overload bracket that contacts the stock bump stop which is where the bottom bracket of the air bag will mount. To ensure that you have the correct height you will need to park your F-250 on a flat and level surface without any extra weight on the rear suspension. The air bag has a working height of 7" between the mounting brackets(see image). If the 7"...

The cradle actually replaces the lower roll plate so the air bag will sit directly in the cradle. I'm not sure how much of a lift you have, but you may also need to add spacers to your setup. You will definitely need a couple of spacers to add the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs item # AL57538.
