Today we're going to review part number CAM25003. This is the Camco RV vent installation kit. This kit will let you replace or install a vent on your RV's aluminum or metal roof or side wall. It is designed to work for roof vents, side mount vents, plumbing specs and refrigerator vents. It does include all the items showing here. It includes this 8-foot long roll of putty tape as you can see right here as you peel it off. It is 1-inch wide also, 8 foot long and 1 inch wide. It does include these mounting screws. It gives you twenty-four of the number 8 one-inch slotted hex screws, and it gives you four of the number 6 by half inch Philip screws. This part does come with a 1 year limited warranty. The weatherproofing on my old horse trailer vent allowed rain to penetrate and damage the roof deck and ruin some expensive tack. After I repaired the damage this new kit worked like a charm.
Had to buy longer screws because the trailer roof is fiberglass...
Wow! These guys have great customer service. Got my Camco replacement roof vent and caulking right on time. They sent an email saying it was on its way. I will buy more from these guys...great selection and prices are good too.

Janet G - 04/28/2016The Fan-tastic fan has done a great job keeping my small pop-up camper cooler for the past year. On the high setting, it moves a lot of air, and makes for nice afternoon naps. On low, it keeps the air from feeling stagnant, and makes for nice nighttime sleeping, as well as eliminating the possibility of condensation when I camp in the winter.
I had been shopping around for replacement tires to my trailer. I came across etrailer.com and found them to be competitively priced. I placed an order and upon receiving my order, I was pleased with the way the It was packaged and shipped. The products are of good quality and I would order from etrailer again in the future.
Used the Camco putty tape to seal new trailer roof vent. Has been installed about a year and has not leaked a drop.
Arrived safely, looks good... but too early to comment. My mistake, but the roof vent is sold without the ceiling garnish which comes as a separate item. Need to figure out which garnish trim is correct for the install - available for different roof thickness.

I used this for a seal on my replacement vent cover. It worked like an original factory job.

This kit was exactly what it was supposed to be. Some machined screws and small roll of butyl tape. Good for small jobs.
