Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Optronics Unitek LED Directional Light. This is a LED directional light that's going to provide bright white light to illuminate an area such as your enclosed trailer or your RV. You can see when we don't have our dome light turned on, it's not going to light up in this center position; but it will when we turn it to the side. If we turn on our dome light, it's going to give us that bright white light in the center position and then also into the angle positions. This is compatible with your 12 volt DC systems.

It does have that three-wire design; so you have your positive, your negative, and then your dome light auxiliary plug there in the middle. This is a recessed mount, so it's going to fit nice up against your ceiling or wall wherever you have this mounted.If you would like, we also have a snap-on Trim Ring available here at etrailer.com. This is going to hide the screws that hold the light in place. It just simply slides in around the lens and snaps in place to give it a nice finished look. You can see it's got a nice textured finish to it.

This is sold separately. So if you'd like this, we do have it available using the part number that was just on the screen for you. Then to remove that you just simply push in on the side tabs here and it's going to push it out and then you can pull it to remove it. Pretty simple process there. As I said this is not included in the kit, but it can be found at etrailer.com.This is going to give us a nice, clear lens with white LEDs.

If you're not familiar with LEDs, they are a great replacement for your incandescent lights. They last about 50 times longer because they don't have the brittle filaments inside that can break and need to be replaced. They're also more efficient than your incandescent lights. They're going to give you brighter light with less power draw. They're going to be a great option for you.

This does also have a durable polycarbonate lens. So it's going to hold up well; give us that uninhibited light as it's coming through. So this is going to be a great option for you.I do want to give you a few measurements to make sure that this is going to work for your setup. So our overall width we're looking at just over four inches tall, about 4-1/8 of an inch long; right about 3-1/2 inches tall and our overall thickness, right about an inch and a half.This does have nine of those LED diodes. It's only going to draw about 0.35 amps on your 12-volt system. And there is a lifetime warranty on your LEDs. That's going to complete our look at the Optronics Unitek LED Directional Light.
