Installed this when I bought a truck camper. It was plug and play at the factory Ford end. I needed a 7-way at the front, driver's side of the bed for camper hookup. A little drilling and some hardware install and it works great at the front of the bed. I cracked the cover, no fault of Hopkins brand. 630927

After a year, this product has been great. Worked as described and was plug and play at the rear factory Ford end.

I had a plug on my 2015 Ram 3500 previously but it was stolen so all I had to do was plug and play this cord. Nope! The rear driver side tail light did not work. I called your customer service and they said my chassis ground was not good. I knew that wasn’t right so I purchased a Curt harness from the Ram dealer and it worked perfectly. 512278

Great wiring harness with plenty of extra wire to run the 7 way just about anywhere you want, also loved the plug and play as it went into a 16 Ram 2500. etrailer will continue to get my business with the cheapest prices and fast shipping. 568807

I assumed this would be a plug and play connector and go together seamlessly. However I found that the end connector that plugs into the factory harness does not lock appropriately. I made sure there were no bent pins. The locking clip and connector did not want to stay locked and I do not understand why. A 1/2 hour install turned into 2.5 hours which ended with ultimately using a zip tie to hold the two connectors together. I'll probably end up buying a another harness that will work. 130421

Great product! Now we can plug in our RV and not have to worry that the cable is rubbing on the tailgate wearing away the paint. Our truck is a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD and we our going to be traveling 24/7 and now no worries about new paint being damaged by cable rubbing on tailgate while driving. 136700

Great product. Installation time was ten to fifteen minutes even with cutting the hole in the box. This is an excellent kit overall. The zip ties that came with it were a little small, so I used my own. It would be nice if the kit came with the ground screw. I would recommend this product to anyone. I installed it on my 2004 Chevy 2500 HD. 252037

2014 Dodge Ram Pickup

It's actually long enough! 2014 Ram 2500 crew cab long bed w/factory hitch, and I installed this plug in the *front* corner of the bed. Have a truck camper, and its trailer plug is in the front left (driver's) corner. The cord is only about 2' long, so I needed to install a plug in the front of the truck bed. Before ordering, I measured from the factory plug at the trailer hitch over to the rear corner of the bed, then made a 90 degree turn and measured up the frame to the front of the bed. From there, took another 90 degree turn and went vertically to where the plug would hopefully be in the bed. About 12'. Since 10' is the longest I could find, I thought that perhaps I could run the cable more directly and shave off a few feet, and it ended up working. Far easier than custom building a wiring harness. The final installation route went across the top of the spare tire to the back of the fuel tank, then along the frame until reaching the front of the bed. From there, it traveled up to where the new plug is installed in the bed. There were plenty of points along the way to secure the cable with zipties so it's neat and tidy and not apt to get caught on anything like the rear suspension or spare tire. The cable ended up having a bit of extra length, not much, but a little ... I was glad it wasn't pulled taut! The install was simple and pretty painless. As others have noted, the zipties that come in the package are a bit too small to really be useful. 437034

How good is free shipping, our Order was placed about 8pm est on Thursday Jan 19th, and arrived Jan 25th before I returned from work at 4pm. Just sold the F-150 I installed the previous B&W fifth wheel hide a ball hitch in. Love this hitch set up, after arriving at a campground and unhooking the camper I have FULL use of the truck bed. Install of round two begins in the morning, directions are simple and easy to understand. George J from E-trailer has been keeping me updated with information about my delivery status and made himself available had I had any questions. Wife and I have been camping for about four years, on our second RV and now our third truck and have been totally satisfied ordering everything we needed from E-trailer over that time, (about 18-20 orders to date) adding to the great products E-trailer provides is the HOW TO DIY videos on many products. 338589

Product showed up on time and packaging was great. I installed on a 2019 F250 XLT crew cab 4x4. Super simple to install literally plug and play. I removed the spare tire for easier access remove factory plug at back of bumper. I recommend pulling your trailer light fuse under the hood (25amp) so you don’t pop the fuse when switching out the harness. Etrailer offers great products and shipping time and packaging is great. Will use again for future purchases! 713823

Great product. Easy to install, plug and play up to drilling the bed. Not issues drilling though it is a little concerning ??. Will be using this for my fifth wheel. Helpful tip on the 2019 3500 4x4. Drop the spare to help with cable routing and to give enough space to work. 680629

Installs very easily and looks like a quality product. Unfortunately my truck blew a left blinker fuse the very first time using the hookup. Not sure if it’s a truck issue or a wiring harness issue but should be an easy fix nonetheless (as long as the fuse doesn’t keep blowing). 818438

Plenty of wire to reach inside the bed of the truck. I had about 3 feet extra. Plugs all mated with the factory harness without issue. The included screws for mounting were a little small and about a 1/4 inch too short. I used 1 1/2 inch #10 self tapping screws. The included zip ties were a little wimpy as well. I used larger ones that I had on hand. 808758

2013 Ford F250. Easy install. Installed on side of bed. Won't have to worry about tight turns and pulling on the plug or pulling it out. It was previously mounted on the under the bumper. Piece of cake install after reviewing some [online] videos. Approximately 1 hour to install. Did the install on a 2019, Dodge Ram, 2500, Bighorn. 2 1/8” hole bit did the trick for mounting in the bed, and dropped the spare tire to run the wire harness. Did come with dielectric grease for the connections! 795710
