This cover is great. Whenever there is a forecast for snow or ice, I cover the windshield with it. There are loops on the sides that hook around the mirrors and hold it in place. It is really easy to install. I am starting my third winter with it and if anything happened to it I would definitely order another one. I live in Kentucky and don't have to use it too often. But when we get one of those ice storms it certainly makes my life easier. I liked it so much that I bought one for my daughter.
I am using this on a 2024 Ford Maverick truck. It completely covers the windshield and wipers along the back side of the hood. After my first snow with the truck, the wipers ended up buried in snow and ice between the hood and windshield, which is the reason I purchased this. It worked perfect on the following snowfall four days later. It only took three days to arrive at my house at a time when there was significant snow and no mail or Amazon deliveries, but my windshield cover from Etrailer showed up!

Hi Matthew, with all the snowfall that has come in the last week or so, I bet this saved so much time with clearing off your car in the cold!
Overall, I am quite pleased with my windshield cover. Upon opening the protective cover/case, one of the grommets fell off, though this is a minor issue. The cover is well fitted to my vehicle and it worked as advertised and depicted, negating the use of an ice/frost scraper this morning. Additionally, there are numerous pine tress where I park, and fallen pine needles are a constant problem as a result. With my new windshield cover in place, it also helps minimize this nuisance.
The overall experience, from initiation through delivery, was flawless, fast, and satisfactory. The product is sturdy and economically priced for something of above average (superior, I dare say) quality. I can highly recommend this product with a clear conscience and in good faith.

It has been a year since ordering my windshield cover from etrailer. I was living in Alabama then but have since moved to Idaho where I have already used the cover due to the weather here. It has held up and I am glad to have made this purchase.This is a superior product!

Bought these as Christmas presents for my kids and son in law, they all have to part there cars outside (Nissan, Lexus, and a Ford). It was just in time too because we had a lot of snow here in Missouri, my son in law leaves for work extremely early and was very pleased with how easy it was to remove with all the snow on it, saved him so much time in the morning. Was extremely happy that I was able to get them such a useful gift!

Hey Kate! I love this! Hopefully there wont be any more winter storms but if there is, all your kids will be more than ready for it.
This cover was purchased for the intended purpose of keeping tree sap off of my windshield during warm weather. You can imagine the frustration involved in not being able to park a new Subaru in a garage or under some type of carport. So far it is working as expected. Also, it fit the Forester windshield perfectly as I had hoped. Thank you etrailer for your great customer service!
I have used the cover for week, during snow, and rain, and wind. The cover worked well. It fit the car well. We had temps down to 15 degrees.

This product has served its purpose. It also works in high wind. It is taken off to dry, and used again. Great Product.
Like it but wonder how the elastic anchors will hold up with time? Overall a good value and helpful!

The elastic anchors are stretching with use and time, but so far usable. The side flaps could be a little bigger, as they seem to drift with windy conditions. Still a great product that is being used today!

Hey Stan! I actually couldn't agree more. I have one as well and it is such a life saver when it's winter time here. Cuts down on time spent scraping ice off my car.
This product is excellent effective product. In my winter driving in upper New York state it does axcellent job removing ice and snow on the windshield. I highly recommend this product.

etrailer came though again with what seems to he a nice product at a very nice price. The packaging for our shipment was tip notch, protected our covers from damage and the environment. We look forward to installing and using our new covers to protect our trucks from ice, snow, in winter. Hopefully the covers will work to protect our trucks from a worse problem the Douglas Fir and Hemlock needles that practically rain down onto the windshields year round. These needles get into everything, clogging vents and air intakes at the base of our windshields.
What I love about the product is how tight it compresses to the windshield even through the harsh winter we just went through. I would pull it off with 4 to 5 inches (of snow) on top and the windshield would be completely clear. Only improvement would possibly make it easier to be tied down to the mirrors and possibly adding a mirror cover as well. I get up and leave very early in the morning for work and it saves me and my neighbor 30 minutes of my vehicle running loudly and having to have my windshield thawed out before having to leave. It keeps me from having to stand out in the cold weather and scrape off snow and ice. This is great for anybody who hates the cold weather and hates to stand out in the cold and scrape their ice or waste gas in having their windshield thawed out from the heat in the car.
The Product covers the entire windshield and windshield wipers. I like that I don't have to clear snow off windshield and wipers. Stops windshield freezing up with frost. It solves the problem of accumulating snow on windshield on car. I also have one for my truck.
Bought two of them for truck & car. My Silverado windshield measures 62" wide at the base, and the cover fits very well. My car windshield measures 55" at the base, and it fits much better than I expected. The elastic mirror straps have 3 sections. I use the inner one for my car, and the middle one for my truck. When windy, I expect the cover on my car will flap alot, so I will buy another one whenever a shorter cover becomes available. (Hint, hint). In the mean time, I expect using this cover will save me time & effort to clear the ice from my windshields.
I own a 2022 Super Duty and it fits the large windshield and prevents snow and ice from forming on the truck so no scraping, nothing but a clean window in the mornings, have purchased several and gave to family and friends, no more plastic bags for me
I just placed the windshield cover on my 2004 Chevy Silverado truck and it fit like a glove, and covered the wipers. Easy to install and secures tightly. Very satisfied so far.

Good fit. A little concerned about how much I need to stretch the straps for the mirrors. I have towing mirrors on my Dodge and need to stretch the straps quite a bit. Other than that, great product.
We love these! They are very helpful when we're away from the house or parked outside during the winter months. Saves us a lot of time and energy.

It does not fit my windshield completely. It's not really wide enough, & the elastic straps are not very fitting over my mirrors. But it may do the job enough to get by.

I have shopped Etrailer since I bought my trailer in 2018 and have been nothing but pleased with with their products and service.
The shield does a good job if there is no wind. If it is windy you cannot secure the cover tight enough to keep it from being lifted or shifted, thus allowing snow and ice to get under the shield.
I ordered 2 of these for our vehicles. We live in FL so I wasn't interested in snow/ice. What I needed was a cover that would keep the oak leaves from our beautiful oak trees from falling and collecting on the dash/hood windshield area to prevent another $700 air conditioning repair bill due to leaves in the blower motor. The cover was very easy to install - and I'm a 72 year old woman. Very happy with this purchase.
Product is great, works well, so far has stayed in place even though my van window is too wide to allow the side pieces to be closed in the doors.
I am very empressed with the quality of the windshield cover. It is vinal on one side and a fabric stronger that denim on the opposite side. Made very well.

I live in an area of Kentucky where we get a fair amount of freezing rain. Since my truck is a Ford Super Duty, it will not fit in my garage, and I have to leave it outside. The windshield cover has been a good friend on those days and nights when we are having a freeze. It is big enough to fit the trucks large windshield and it stays in place with the flaps that go inside the doors. And the bottom covers the wipers so that you dont have to leave them sticking out from the windshield. I liked my cover so much that I bought one for my daughter. This has been a great e-trailer purchase for me.
