Randy: Hey guys, Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at a set of wheel chocks from Buyers. These are really heavy duty composite, extremely dense, and something I like about them as you can see here, these are tethered together. So as we're lifting them up, or trying to store them, it's going to give this a convenient way to do that. Basically we could just put that up on a hook on our wall. When we're ready to use them, pull them down throw them out and just throw them in place.I like the pair here.
I think it's more important to have a pair like this when you're on a flat surface because your trailer, RV, truck, whatever you're going to use them on may roll forward or back. It gives us great security on each side of that tire, so no matter which way it wants to go, we won't have to worry about it.The chock is going to be 9-1/2 inches from side to side. Going to be 4 inches tall and 6 inches wide. Now this is super dense. There's no give or no flex to it and it's got a good bit of weight to it.
So this is going to be a very sturdy situation. You're not going to have to worry about smashing them or anything like that. And with the composite material, we're not going to have to worry about the UV rays, we're not going to have to worry about salt, gas, oil and things like that that we often encounter in our RVs, parking lots and things like that. All in all, I think this is going to be a really good wheel chock solution. It's certainly going to do the job. I like that the composite material, we don't really have to worry about rusting or anything like that.
They're a little bit heavier than what you see from some of the other ones that are made out of aluminum. They got some good density to it. I like that they come as a pair rather than buying them individually. And I also like that they're tethered. This is really going to help to reduce the risks that we lose one or leave one behind and it's going to give us a nice storage solution as well..
