Today we'll be reviewing part number AM3604. This is the Andersen camper leveler. One leveler is included, along with one chock. This is going to provide leveling at any increment, from a half-inch, to four inches. At its lowest point, we have a measurement of a half-inch. Then at its highest point, we have a measurement of right at four inches.
This is going to work great on trailers up to 30,000 pounds. The way this works is, you would place the wedge in front of, or behind, the tire of your trailer. That way you can actually drive on to these, or you can back on to them. Your tire is going to come on, here. It's going to level itself out with the leveling system.
Once you have that correct increment that you're looking for, between a half-inch to four inches of needing to be level, then what you can do is, you can take your chock, and place it under your leveler. You can see how the chock is cut to match any position that the leveler is positioned at. Another great feature about this system is, once you're ready to move your trailer off of the levelers, you don't have to get in there and struggle to really pull this out from your tire. You can simply just remove the chock, and drive your trailer off the front. This is going to flip up behind your wheel, and then you're good to go. Just grab your two pieces and put them into your storage compartment or under your vehicle, and you're ready to get on your way.
Another great feature about this is that it is just two pieces. There's no assembly required. A lot of leveling systems out there, you have to build or place together. In some cases, a lot of people that don't want to use chocks, will wedge a rock underneath their leveler. This is a really sturdy and stable unit.
It's going to work great for your application. A few dimensions that I would like to go over is, we have an overall length of right at 15 inches. Again, the height is four inches, and this provides a width of right at six inches. That's going to complete today's review of the Andersen camper leveler, part number AM3604.

WOW!!! Absolutely the best shopping experience I have had. All 3 items shipped immediately, together and worked/fit perfectly. Your prices were cheaper (when you factor shipping) so not only did I get a great deal, I got it super fast and delivered to my door step. etrailer will be my go to place for my RV needs from now on
The idea is great, but as manufactured, the interface between the two ramps is too slippery. When the camper is released from the tow vehicle, the two wedges slip apart a bit, affecting the level and position of the camper. Adding friction tape to the surface between the two pieces helps.
Works as advertised. However, I had to cut 2 1/2 inches from the narrow end of each set, because the full-length leveler would sometimes wedge itself tightly between the tires of my Grand Design trailer when I was
pulling away from the chocked site. This decreases the size of the hollow in the leveler that prevents the
trailer from rolling; the small supplied chock only serves to stabilize the leveler.
My fifth wheel has self leveling and sometimes lifts the wheels off of the ground depending on the slope! These are a must have for any camper and a great security feature around water while camping!
It is a good product and elevates the trailer correctly. Unfortunately and for a reason I need to investigate, when I use it, I am unable to get the trailer hitch off the ball. This does happen to others from what I have read. So until I figure it out, I will be using boards.
These levelers mostly work as marketed, seem rugged and are easy to use, but they do have a few shortcomings. (1) they really need to come with two wedges when your only leveling to mid- position (one for each side). In the photo I used a wedge of firewood till I can make something permanent. (2) very slippery plastic material (I'm guessing HDPE) and the wedge can easily be knocked out. I may try and add some texture or skateboard tape to help. (3) limited to about 3-1/2” of height adjustment, ok for most RV intended sites, but if you like more primitive sites like me, these may not have enough rise to them.
We used these levelers for the first time this week and were more than happy with them. They were so easy to use and provide the exact lift needed to perfectly level our trailer. Thanks again, etrailers staff for the excellent customer support!
I highly recommend Anderson Wheel Chock’s. They make leveling the RV a lot easier, are well built, and should last a long time. Additionally, etrailer.com is a great company to purchase items from.
Love these, easy to use depending on amount of space between wheels
The Anderson Chocks work well but I give them 4 stars because I wish they offered a model with either a smaller inside chock for shorter trailers or just a smaller set. You have to saw off a bit of one or it doesn't fit between the two tires.
This product is a quick, simple, inexpensive, durable, and ingenious way to level up a trailer axle within it’s limits on firm ground. It is rare that a camp site is truly level. We use ours at over 90% of our sites.
Etrailer you have it together! I purchased these wheel chocks for my husband for Christmas! I know we will be using them after the Holiday. From the moment i placed my order and all the way through shipping your staff followed this purchase with updates from etrailer as to what was going on with this purchase…thank you for caring about your product and your customer! Yes you have a customer for life!
Easy to use and provides all the levelling lift I require for my single axle. Great product.
These work very nice for leveling. No more dirty wooden boards for leveling are used.
Makes leveling a camper very easy and doubles as a wheel stop
These are a must have in case you’re setting up on uneven ground. I have used them several times and have been satisfied each time. I won’t leave home without them.
As a senior, the Andersen Levelers are a godsend, saving my back and making setting up my A-frame trailer a breeze.
Easiest way to level my Airstream. I don't mind having a spot that isn't quite level because I can use my Andersen Camper Levelers.
I loved this chock and found it a wonderful way to level my teardrop trailer. I'd give it 5 stars, but then....
Unfortunately, while using it on a level gravel pad, the large section just snapped into two pieces.
I have still been able to use it in parts but I would like a new one.
So far so good...There is a learning curve if you are leveling on your own. I am in a van and it often feels like i am going to drive over the top of the leveler. Also, they are not the same width of the tires so know that there will be a little tire edge exposed. The first couple of times, I put the chock in tight and had to roll forward to remove it. It is better to leave it a bit loose where it offers the roll back protection if needed but is easy to remove when ready to leave. These sure win over the wooden blocks and the square levelers.
I highly recommend these wheel chocks and levelers. They are the best I’ve ever used, as they make it so easy to hit level every time. It’s a snap with one or two people. They could also be used for changing a flat tire on dual axel trailers. Worth every penny.
Love my Andersen leveler. Easy to use and rock solid. Have stayed at some pretty uneven sites and the leveler made easy work of getting level. Highly recommended.
These are awesome levelers and save space compared to blocks wood or otherwise. using these with the Hopkins Smart Level leveling is a breeze.
Works great. It simplifies leveling the trailer w/o stacking a bunch of 2x6's or plastic blocks. If you have a large level on your trailer front (that you can read from your TV's rear view mirror), you can level your trailer w/o assistance. If you only need about 3/4" of lift, you can use the little wedge to chock the other side of the tire. If you have tandem axles that positioned the tires close together, the small end can be trimmed (shortened) so that it'll fit between the tires. Also, with the help of some 2x6 blocks, one of these can be used as a rolling jack to lift the other axle's tire up for changing.
Great product. Saves room and weight in my travel trailer. Won't rot or rust either.
Bought a pair of these to use with our new Jayco Talon 403T, for many years we used 4' x 2" x 8" s but after watching several videos on their use and reviews we decided to give the Anderson levelers a try. They appear well built and should last for many year.
