Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, on the driver's and passenger's sides.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

The wiring harness went together nicely.
The left trailer light worked intermittently. However, it worked OK with my car towing lights... So the problem apparently is with my trailer wiring.

Easy to install, biggest problem was me trying to figure it out. Works as advertised
Shipping box didn't fare well but Curt receiver hitch survived with no damage during shipping. Product was exactly what I expected and is solidly built. Install only took thirty minutes and all holes lined up perfectly. Hardest part was getting out rusted bolts on 98 Dodge Dakota. Glad I didn't go with Uhaul.

Still hauling strong.
Product was wired incorrectly from factory. The turn signal wires on the harness were reversed when trailer harness was hooked up. Fixed by creating a pig-tail and reversed the turn signal wires on that one.
Easy to install. Plug 'n play..
The product was an easy install just as they said. The wiring was also simple to install. It works perfectly and also increases the value of my truck because it’s equipped to haul trailers or campers with an taillight / brake lights hook up.
I was very impressed with this and will definitely contact etrailer again if I need anything else.
Spend the extra money and buy the T-connector, it took me 10 min to install.Save your self from the frustration from the ones you buy at the big box stores.

Great
The Curt T connector wiring harness I ordered from etrailer.com worked great. It plugged directly into the existing brake light connectors at the back of my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. The only problem I had was getting the old connectors loose from 15 years of dirt and debris buildup. But as soon as those were loose the Curt T connector slid in effortlessly. Thanks etrailer!
So far things have been great with boat & trailer. Its very easy to load & unload and handles well on the road, even though I've only driven it from my house to the dock we have here in the community . Got lights going, went in very easily and all lights work. Only been out in boat twice as the weather down here is awful....13 straight days in the mid 90's so there isn't much incentive to do any fishing right now. Stay in the air condition !!!
Product looks solid and delivered in timely manner. Interaction with etrailer has been surprisingly personal (for a ".Com" transaction), and their followup very professional. Due to pavement still being hot enough to cook on here in FL, I have not installed yet, so I will comment later on the how well the product matches my frame and it's durability. So for now, I have no reason for any less than 5 stars.
Trailer wiring harness was easy to install. All connectors fit perfectly. Works like a factory install.
This thing was a snap, literally, to put on. I installed it on a 1995 Dodge Dakota. If I had suggestions for improve it to make it even more awesome, I'd say put a small label on each side of the wiring harness for "driver side" and "passenger side". I haven't yet hooked a trailer up to it but I don't see any reason it wouldn't work - it's well made.
Hitch and tail light harness arrived in three days. Installed everything yesterday in about an hour, took extra time to round up tools and figure out how to do it by myself. Excellent fit...probably took about 20 minutes to install hitch...held it in position will hydraulic jack.
With the help of Ms. Paula, I ordered and received, in a appropriate time, my wiring harness for my 2001 Dodge Ran 1500 truck. I am extremely satisfied with each and every aspect of my order and product. It had very clear directions as how to install and it was right on point. Also had plenty of extra wire so you didn't have to be concerned if you had enough wiring to reach each side. I couldn't be happier and I'm very thankful to Ms. Paula for her assistance!!!

This was the first hitch I ever installed. It took me, by myself, 45 minutes to install. This includes the lighting harness as well that I purchased. Everything matched up perfectly. Very pleased. highly recommend

Plug and Play wire harness! Very easy to install. Appears to be of good quality.
10 minute install including wash up. Would help if connectors were tagged right and left. Not everyone knows that green is right and yellow is left.
Easy to install except the old connectors were hard to unclip!

It fit and installed like it should. I have not used it much, but it looks durable, so I expect it to last.
