For safety and stability, air springs are the perfect partner for your rear suspension when you are hauling heavy loads. Springs fit inside existing coil springs to help level your Volkswagen Atlas, improve braking and handling, and reduce tire wear.

Specs:
Firestone Coil-Rite springs fit inside your existing rear coil springs to maximize the effectiveness of your suspension system. The added cushion provided by the air springs allows your vehicle to better handle a heavy load or trailer. Hauling heavy loads or towing a heavy trailer can make the rear of your vehicle sag and the front end rise. This puts more strain on your rear axle and reduces contact between your front tires and the road, causing problems with braking, steering control and traction. By adding air springs to your rear suspension, you can help to level your vehicle for more effective braking and handling under heavy loading or when you encounter adverse road conditions. The air springs also help to level your headlight beams and reduce wear on your tires.
Adjustable Air Pressure
The air pressure in your Coil-Rite springs can be adjusted manually, side to side, to compensate for off-center loads. A centered load improves the stability of your vehicle by reducing body roll. The air springs will also help to absorb road shock and soften contact between your axle and frame. This prevents bottoming out, thus improving ride comfort. Route the air line tubing for the springs to your vehicle's bumper to provide easy access to the manual inflation valves.
Air Spring Construction
Coil-Rite springs are constructed of durable, elastic polyurethane to ensure years of service. Single replacement springs (sold separately) are available for maintenance to an existing Coil-Rite kit.
Air Spring Installation
The Coil-Rite springs install inside your existing coil springs. The custom-fit springs attach to your vehicle's spring seats.

For safety and stability, air springs are the perfect partner for your rear suspension when you are hauling heavy loads. Springs fit inside existing coil springs to help level your vehicle, improve braking and handling, and reduce tire wear.Easy install in less than 2 hours. I disconnected the shock absorber on one side to get a little more room, but I was still able to slip the bags in on the side I didn't disconnect. On my atlas cross sport, there was a plastic plug at the bottom of the coil in the lower control arm that needed to be removed.
These work great for the VW Atlas!! They reduce the rear end sag when pulling a travel trailer or putting the roof tent on and loading all the gear for some overland trail riding and camping!! They are a must for any adventurous Atlas Owner!
Instructions were straightforward, install went smooth, and the product works great!
I installed the F4175 kit on my 2013 VW Beetle TDI. Installation was very easy. I usually carry a wheel chair which lowers the rear 1 inch. My base unlaiden measurement was 9 inches. I put in 5 lbs of air and rear end went up 1 inch I then put in my wheel chair and the rear end went back down 1 inch, which put me right back to my base unlaiden measurement, so the vehicle did not sag at all and remained level. I need to do a full ride quality test, but it seems a little firmer in the rear.
Product installed without any issues. Do suggest taking a paper towel or rag and spraying a small amount of WD40 on it and wiping around spring coils only not on air bag. Bags slide in a little easier. Would have been 5 Star except for unacceptable shipping time, 5 days to on instate location 200 miles away.
This product works very well! Leveled my SUV just like I was hoping when towing my Travel trailer. Install instructions are pretty simple and it is a challenging task to push the bags inside the coils, one thing I figured out after a few hours struggling is to push all of the air out then twist the bag before trying to push it into the coils.
Good product for little air bags.i like it and easy to install
Daz Ryte... Awesome!!! Really helps out the suspension while hauling my trailer...
Overall great product

Installed on my 2020 Ram 1500 4x4 ecodiesel. Took about 1 hour. Jacked up rear of vehicle to let coil spread out a little. Bags went in easy. Air lines were simple to run. Bought the union T-valve so I could air the bags up at same time and to make sure equal PSI goes to each bag.

Installed on my '08 Acura MDX, very tight fit, it would work perfectly if air didn't leak out of the connection at the bottom of the bag.
It was a very lengthy install process for me, about 6hrs due to a stuck rear strut bolt that required drilling out. Also, needed an additional person to re-install the coil while holding down the lower control arm and squeezing the coil back into position.
The air leak is easily identified where the air line connects into the bottom of the airbag. I've re-cut the airline multiple times to ensure a perfectly flat end of the tube, and re-connected it. Even had a mechanic check the system, but there's still a slow leak at the connection into the bag.
These airbags seem very sturdy, but this is starting to make me second guess the quality, it seems like that connection is a clear weak point/design flaw.

No issue at all with these. Keep them with at least 10-15psi at all times and lift it up to 30psi only when fully loaded or hauling. Initially, the blue fill tube seemed too long but worked out great to get it laced underneath the exhaust heat shield. Some have put the fill valves on the inside. However, I found it easier to use a standard bike pump on the exterior. And made it symetrical :)
I would had have recommended it to several others who have simular needs.

I can only give this 3 stars because one of the bags only holds air for about 1-2 days. The other bag stays filled for months. When they are both filled it gives my Pathfinder about 1" of extra lift while towing our travel trailer. So, the trip to the campground is fine but then I have to find an air pump for the trip home or tow with it lower. If they would both stay filled I would give them a 5 star rating. I contacted etrailer support and was told that I had to contact Firestone for warranty support. I have emailed (can't find a phone number on their web site) them twice with no reply.

They work great. First I added a levelling kit then the Firestone ride rite for when I tow my boat. Really notice the difference when towing.
With fully loaded tongue weight, rear suspension dropped .75 inches, added 10psi to the bags and brought it back up .5 inches.

They functioned exactly as advertised. Very strong and durable. So strong are they that they didn’t even burst or puncture in a roll over crash. One of the spring that contained a spring assist bag was knocked out of the truck and it still did not rupture.
In the pictures below you can see the spring in the bed of the truck.
Highly recommend this product.
Review from a similar Coil-Rite in Vehicle Suspension
Installed on a 2016 4Runner in conjunction with a 1-1/2" Daystar coil spring spacer. Since the coil spacer is hollow, I left one segment of the factory bump stop in place to compensate for and match the height of the spacer. I also added a Firestone T-fitting on the airline for a single inflation point and located the inflation valve next to my trailer plug wiring. Quite a pain to wrestle the coil back in place with the added height of the spacer, but that is no fault of the airbags; pry bar proved critical to wedge the coil back in place since I did not try the bottle jack between the frame and axle trick. After nearly a year, no leaks, bags hold air well. I put 25 psi in them for towing our travel trailer, or keep them at 10 psi for normal running around. I have also found them useful to prevent or at least reduce bottoming out the soft rear suspension that happens when off road driving with even just a couple hundred pounds in the back. Even at 25 psi they ride great and you wouldn't know they are back there at 10 psi. Highly recommend for the low cost and added versatility!
