  • Limited Lifetime warranty

Insert these helper springs in between the individual coil loops in your rear coil springs to defeat driver fatigue and add better support for heavy loads. Most factory coil suspensions have a difficult time hauling added weight. The rear coils may struggle with supporting the extra load placed on your rear axle when you're towing a trailer or using a hitch-mounted cargo carrier or bike rack. If your coil springs are totally squished under a load, the lack of shock absorption can be harsh on your backside, especially if you spend long hours sitting in your vehicle while driving to your campsite.

Coil SumoSpring installed between rungs of coil spring

Inside each helper spring, a core of microcellular polyurethane foam adds cushioning between your coils to make your ride more comfortable. Each doughnut-shaped spring has H-shaped channels at the top and bottom that fit to the rung of an individual coil in your rear coil springs. The cushioning absorbs shock, but also works progressively to better support weight, keeping your truck level.

Unlike air springs that fit inside your coil springs, these polyurethane springs require no air pressure monitoring, and they are easier to install. Say goodbye to air lines, valves and air tanks and hello to maintenance-free suspension support. Unbumpify your ride with Coil SumoSprings for coil suspensions.

  • Suspension Upgrade for a 2020 Ford Expedition
I have a couple of options for upgrading your Expedition's suspension and making it more comfortable when towing your travel trailer but I confirmed with both Firestone and Airlift and neither offer air bags for your vehicle. The only suspension upgrade available for your 2020 Expedition is the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension item # CSS-1168R. These spacers insert inside your rear coil springs to keep the rear end of your Ford level when towing and are...

  • Recommended Weight Distribution To Reduce Sag In 2016 Toyota Highlander
We currently do not have a confirmed fit for your 2016 Toyota Highlander. The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1168R only are confirmed to fit models through 2015. Your best option for suspension assistance is to use a weight distribution system to help distribute the tongue weight over the trailer. I will need the weights of your trailer to help with a recommendation for this system. It is based on total tongue weight that is your loaded trailer...

  • Rear Suspension Enhancement Compatible with 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL
There is currently only one suspension enhancement option we carry that is compatible with your 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL. Unfortunately the Air Lift Helper Springs are not compatible. What you can use to enhance your ride is use the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Rear Axle # CSS-1168R. This will integrate into your current factory coil springs to give them additional support. They are a custom fit for your vehicle and require no maintenance. I've...

  • Suspension Enhancement Kits for 2010 Ford Expedition EL
The Air Lift air spring kit # AL61792 that you referenced is definitely a no-fit for your vehicle but we do have suspension helper spring kits for your 2010 Ford Expedition EL that will help to support its stock suspension. SuperSprings offers both a front-axle and a rear-axle coil helper spring for your EL. For a front-axle kit you can use part # CSS-1094F if your Expedition is 4WD. Rear-axle kit # CSS-1168R fits if your EL is 2WD. Installation of these kits is simple. You insert the...

  • Availability of Rear Axle Air Suspension Enhancement Kit for 2013 Toyota Highlander
We have two rear-axle suspension kits for the 2013 Toyota Highlander and one works with the 2- and the other with the 4-wheel-drive models. However, these kits are not air-bag types, but rather a micro-cellular polyurethane foam helper spring that fits between the individual turns of the existing coil springs. The part number for this kit is # CSS-1145R for the 4WD and part # CSS-1168R for the 2WD model. These are far easier to install than an air bag kit and once in place they are maintenance-free....

  • Determining Which Coil SumoSprings Fit A 2021 Toyota Highlander V6
I may have an option for you, but unfortunately there are not suspension enhancement options confirmed to fit your 2021 Toyota Highlander V6. With that said one of the Coil SumoSprings Helper Springs such as the # CSS-1168R you were looking at may still work but you will need to measure your coil springs to be sure. With the vehicle on level ground measure the distance between the middle coils in your rear coil springs. If you can provide this measurement I would be happy to see if there...

Hey Luis, For the front of the Ridgeline you would need the Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1125F. If you're wanting some for the rear too then you'll need part # CSS-1145R. I've attached a short video below where Brad will go over the benefits of these springs and show you how they install.

  • Will the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs CSS-1145R Fit a 2016 Ford Expedition 2WD
I spoke with Super Springs about the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs part # CSS-1168R for your 2016 Ford Expedition. The issue is not that it is not a fit but rather they have not yet had a 2WD model in to test them on. Therefore, in order to confirm compatibility I would need you to take the measurements I have attached for you. In regards to using the Coil SumoSprings with your E-Z Lift Max Weight Distribution System, this will not be an issue at all but as you mentioned you...

There might very well be a set of Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs that will fit your 2008 Honda Ridgeline 4x4. However, in order to confirm the correct part number I would need you to take the measurements in the attached photo. Once you have done this I can then see if there are a set of Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs available but this is your only option as no one else makes a set of suspension enhancements for this vehicle.

The only suspension enhancement option we have for your 2014 Ford Expedition 4X4 is the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension item # CSS-1168R. While they don't give you the customizable enhancement like an air bag, the Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1168R still offer an upgrade for your rear suspension by helping take the brunt of the weight off your OEM springs. • Will A Hellwig Rear Anti-Sway Bar Help With Stability While Towing with A 2022 Ford Expedition XL
Hey Michael, Adding to or enhancing your suspension would help with body roll and side-to-side movement. When it comes to anti-sway bars you'll want to go with whichever is the thickest. The Hellwig # HE74GR is 7/8" thick so you can measure your factory bar and see if it's thicker. You could also install some Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1168R in the rear and front # CSS-1168F to stiffen up the suspension and also help with load leveling support.

  • Helper Springs or Weight Distribution for a 1999 Ford Expedition that Sags with Boat Trailer Coupled
You have some squat there but I've seen worse! Basically, there are two reasons that a vehicle can squat in the back. One is caused by the tongue weight of the trailer and the other is when you are carrying a heavy load in the back of the vehicle. When squat is caused by a heavy load carried in the vehicle that is when you would use suspension enhancement like helper springs of some kind. But when squat is caused by the tongue weight of a trailer the best solution is to use weight distribution....
