Firestone Airide springs are designed to increase safety and reduce the strain on your Ford F-350 Super Duty when you are hauling heavy loads or towing a heavy trailer. The springs partner with your existing rear suspension system to help keep your truck level, maintain even load distribution and increase stability. Hauling heavy loads or towing a heavy trailer can make the rear of your truck sag and the front end rise. This puts more strain on your rear axle and reduces contact between your front tires and the road, causing problems with braking, steering control and traction. By adding air springs to your rear suspension, you can help to level your truck and improve braking and handling. The air springs also help to level your headlight beams and reduce wear on your tires.
Adjustable Air Pressure
The air pressure in your Airide springs can be adjusted manually, side to side, to compensate for off-center loads. A centered load improves the stability of your truck by reducing body roll. The air springs will also help to absorb road shock and to soften contact between your axle and frame. This prevents bottoming out, thus improving ride comfort. Route the air line tubing for the springs to your truck's bumper to provide easy access to the manual inflation valves.
Air Spring Construction
Unlike standard Airide air springs, the RED Label air springs operate up to 150 psi to maximize its weight capacity. The springs have four layers of reinforced rubber to ensure durability and enhance load support. A braided wire girdle creates the double-convoluted shape of each air spring, increasing the burst pressure of the spring. The rubber springs are attached to corrosion-resistant metal end plates with a time-proven, rolled crimp seal that keeps the bags securely anchored.
Air Spring Installation
Each RED Label Extreme Duty kit includes vehicle-specific brackets, fasteners, and hardware for fast, no-drill installation. The hardware installs directly on your axle and frame and the air springs install onto the mounting points provided by the brackets. Additional equipment like control panels, compressors, and air tanks are sold separately.

Springs reduce strain on your rear axle, keep your vehicle level, and adjust to load size for a consistently smooth ride.While the kit is a great product, this is the second truck I have installed Firestone Airbags on, this kit does not fully work with my 2024 F350 CCSB 7.3 4:30 geared FX4 Platinum, I had to modify the drivers side bottom plate to clear the Monoblock brake bracket on the axle. Adjust several brackets to get clearances. My total install time was 8hrs with all the modifications and double checks required. I still suggest the product, but some additional product development needs to take place to truly call this plug and play and somehow get the install to 2.5 hours as it states.
Overall it is a good system. Installation is fairly simple but there are a few modifications that you have to make for newer F350 duallys for it to work on the driver’s side like bending a few of the brackets for various line and cable holders out of the way. It seems like it needs a wider bracket base to sit on the axle. I was not impressed by the low grade bolts that came with the kit and after a few months of pulling a heavy trailer down rough dirt roads the bolts worked their way loose and the mounting bracket rotated. This happened twice. The airbag on the drivers side does not sit exactly vertical but from what I understand the offset is ok and it has been except for the mounting bolts loosening and bending. The second time I fixed this problem I replace the bolts with a higher grade and used two nuts on each for a jamb nut because I felt locktite just wasn’t enough. This method seemed to work. The airbags work great though and I am glad I put them on. I would like to add some to my 32’ 20k trailer but cant really find any to fit the limited space or that have a mounting bracket to facilitate that. I also put some on my dodge truck and am happy with those but again the bolts included in the kit are not a high enough grade and I recommend two nuts on each mounting bolts for a jamb nut to keep them tight or they will vibrate loose if you go down rough roads with a load. I would definitely add them again to any truck I own with the modifications stated right off the bat. No use doing something twice if you dont have to.
Arrived as noted and in good condition. Instructions show 2 types of install. Turks with Bounce tongue stopper, and back section without. One the F350 2023 FX4 Dually model the drivers side lower bracket hits the aluminum that the block the fixed brake line attaches too. Called Firestone and I modified the bracket cut small notch off. To the DYI installer helpful note go ahead and assemble airbag on lower bracket when using spacer and start bolt. Compress airbag and I used Zipties to hold compression til I placed on axle. If not you only have 1/2-3/4” to try and get bolt started into airbag from bottom. After aligned then tightened all my bolts and torqued. Approx airbag install and running hoses about 2-3 hrs. And manual fill lines come with a no drill bracket that can be used on rear if preferred in addition to a compressor if purchased.
Doesn`t fit 2024 Ford F350 dually. Even though etrailer "confirms the fit", make sure you find the hidden tech tip and review the measurement requirements.
OK, so I love the way these work but I had issues with the printed instructions. They were not clear as to whether I needed to use the axle support bracket when I have the Jounce Supports. I installed the bags once with the axle brackets installed (and things just didn't fit well). I then looked up the online instructions which were different and clearer and indicated NOT to use the axle support brackets if you have Jounce Supports. So I had to remove and reinstall the airbags a 2nd time in order to get the bags to sit right and install tight to the Jounce Supports. I'd recommend having the Online instructions handy ILO the printed instructions that come with the kit.
Product was great. I carry a lot of weight in my F-350 delivering to oil field locations and this installation makes it possible to keep my truck at the right ride height. The directions could be more explanatory but after a couple hurdles it installed perfectly.

Total junk ecu and app do not work. Tried to reload app many times got it to work 1 time and never could again. Had my computer guy look at it he said the app was the problem. Looked at reviews of app and they are all bad.never buy a firestone product again. Expensive paperweight.

Just received the helper air bags this afternoon. Got to step 4 before the first problem. There's a brake line manifold mounted right where a bracket goes. I sent an email to ride rite. We'll see how it goes. Needless to say, this isn't a one evening project.
Bench assembled it, everything looks good and assembles as per instructions.

Clean and esy to install
Having these helper springs on my F350 SRW has made pulling my trailers significantly easier. I feel that I have less sway when I have to pull heavier loads.
