These additional leaf springs add support and sway control to your existing OEM suspension. Just bolt on SuperSprings over your existing factory springs, and they automatically work when you need them. As the factory spring flexes, a roller at each end of the beefy helper spring reacts to engage the helper spring and to provide extra support. The springs help to better distribute cargo weight throughout your existing suspension, channeling that weight to the points on the frame that are designed to support heavy loads.

Placing these leaf springs above your factory springs helps to keep your OEM springs from twisting, so the SuperSprings act like a sway bar, reducing the body roll that makes driving more difficult and dangerous. With these helper springs, driving is safer and easier when it's windy, when your vehicle is rocked by a passing semi, and when you are cornering. The springs help to reduce sway by up to 30 percent. The Superspring SSA41 is high quality and fairly easy to install. I would recommend it to any one that owns a medium size motorhome. 612740

I bought this item for my 20 year old 37' motor home. Over the years the rear end has "squatted" down some and due to the weight of the frig, washing machine, and a small freezer all being on the passenger side, it was lower on that side. Installation was not the easiest thing, but this 70 year old was able to do it by myself, even on a gravel driveway. Installation instructions are good. Besides the drive axle, my rig has a second, "drag" axle, whose tires I had to remove to do the job. I also had to re-route a propane line. The hardest part was Step 7: "Using a heavy duty C-Clamp or SuperSprings installation tool, pull down rear of SuperSpring and install bolt,..." I used 2 C-Clamps and it was pretty tricky. I'm not sure what the price of their special tool is and I don't think etrailer sells it. I used the bolt hole that gave me the maximum lift on the passenger side and the first hole on the driver's side. The completed installation did accomplish my goal of leveling the motor home. These springs are really heavy-duty and very good quality. I have no complaints. 748876

Just installed and I loved how easy it was took 30 min tops. I expected a much stiffer rear end with the bed empty but was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the ride remained. I did notice a more stable and responsive feel while driving. All in all super impressed with the product so far, shipping was fast (ordered Saturday and received Wednesday, in canada) everything I needed was in the kit and it only raised the rear end up about 1/2". 316290

Product does just what it says it does. Installed them on a Thursday and towed with them that weekend....... and they did a great job. Handled the tongue weight of my dump trailer better. I did notice a decreased amount of "wave" effect when you are in tow and your heavy trailer hits a bump or swale in the road; and transfers that energy to the truck. Sorta feels like you got a heavy tail that someone is tugging on. This was significantly reduced and made for a pleasant ride Later on Sunday then threw a load of firewood (no trailer this time) in the bed full; and in comparison of a previous haul with wood the truck did not sag as much. My truck config is stock, double cab w/ 8' bed 4x4. I did not notice a stiffness in ride with and empty bed or no trailer in tow. Seemed to be just fine. Slightly raised the rear but with the long truck it is hardly noticeable. One part of the installation was a little difficult, when it came time to compress the leaf it was a bit of a chore. I did have a 5" c-clamp but it was getting tough the last few inches to get the roller underneath the stock leafs. If I had a special leaf spring clamp tool as shown on some of the youtube vids I would have been done in about a 1/2 hour but with out this tool it makes the compression part slow. 145702

It a good product for 2017 Ford f150 except 1 factor that it had to mounted more toward the rear and the no bracket to hold it in place if I get a tire rotation or lift the vehicle from the rear the spring roll away and need to clamped while lowering the vehicle. I contacted Super directly to there warranty department and they sent me a lock down kit. It also Lifted the truck about a inch on low setting so I'm sitting at 39 inch in rear. 505177

Great item!! The Supersprings performed just as described. No more sag in the suspension and the benefit of better control. Installation was an hour with the help of an experienced mechanic and the right tools. If it wasn't for removing of the bumb stops on the axle, installation would have been faster. Expensive product, but it is a quality product and made in the USA. After install, the springs raised the rear of the truck about 2" to 3" when unloaded. Best part is that the springs didn't cause the truck to ride rough when unloaded. 21988

After having used partial and full ‘add-a-leaf’ kits on fleet trucks in the past, I was willing to give these a try. Having missed the stiffness of a 2500 rear end and having put 125k on a 1500 with a topper/camper shell, this was the progressive stiffness I was looking for. The vehicle sits 1.5” higher at the rear, isn’t overly stiff, alowing the Bilstein shocks to continue to do their job, properly. Adding the tow behind camper, along with a loaded bed, far less body sway without a compromised ride. I also utilized the SumoShocks (front and rear), for some time and I love them. Having everything together, as a package, works great for me when towing, the bed is loaded down and when I’m traveling 2hrs at a time from place to place, as a highway truck. This will take some serious C clamps (8” from hardware store) and some mechanical aptitude if using a jack and stand(s) in the garage. Overall, not too strenuous or hard. Nothing intimidating. I’d definitely recomend to anyone wanting to help tired leaf springs or when reducing body roll. 557350

The Sumo Springs continue to provide wonderful results. Many friends with 2500 trucks and onlookers at campgrounds are amazed when we tow our 38’ trailer weighing around 8k lbs when loaded, plus the truck bed loaded with wood and bikes, etc, the family and dog in the cab... All with little to no squat! The ride stays consistent to the 2500 feel I like and it allows me to keep my ol’ beater with high miles and a few thousand miles. I definitely recommend the Sumo Springs and their products. Again, having had their products on other vehicles with more than happy results, I don’t foresee ever purchasing a vehicle and not, at the least, including the rear bump stop supports and adding the leaf kit from there.

Installed on a 2016 Toyota Tundra. I pull a 28 foot aluminum frame utility trailer. Hauls like a 3/4 ton with super spring. Rides like 1/2 ton without load. I have put 1 ton load on truck with no trailer and the truck drove fine. The front of truck at tires rose 1/2 inch. Installation requires the frame to be lifted off the axel.at rear of vehicle. If you watch the video on installation from the model - SSA13MXKT, you will see how to install them, that's why I don't have any pictures. It took me about 2-1/2 hours to install. The brackets were a plated color and I painted everything black before installed them. My truck was pretty clean underneath so I think they look better. I installed them on a 2019 GMC Denali HD 2500 Duramax. As far as handling, after the install, I did not notice too much difference empty. But - when I had my 5th wheel hooked up, there was a difference, not a significant amount, but a difference. My pin weight on the trailer is roughly 1,350 lbs. also. Now for the dimensions here is what I got - I would say, these dimensions are within an 1/8". The dimensions were taken from the center of the tire to a line on the truck, front and rear. BEFORE INSTALL - Rear - 43" Front - 40-1/8" AFTER INSTALL - Rear - 44" Front - 40-1/16" WITH MY CAMPER HOOKED UP 1,350 lbs. Pin Weight (CAT Scale Certified) Rear - 42-5/8" Front - 40-1/8" As you can see, it dropped the truck down 1-3/8". Before the install my truck would "squat" approximately 2-1/2" So, they made a big difference, an 1-1/8" difference. Before the install, the front was about (I never got a good measurement on that) 41". 864295
